VICE President Yemi Osinbajo has said that despite the sectoral challenges, the federal government will complete major projects that will improve the power sector in the country and also implement a plan that will provide solar energy in a number of universities in the country.

He disclosed this on Friday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, when he received a delegation from the African Development Bank (AfDB) led by the bank’s Vice President for Power, Energy, Climate Change & Green Growth Complex, Mr Amadou Hott.

The Vice President noted that the present administration, through various projects, is making more efforts to ensure there was improved power supply nationwide.

One of such projects, Osinbajo noted, was the Federal Government’s Energising Education Programme (EEP), which is a key component of its Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) and Power Sector Reform Programme (PSRP).

The project, which is being carried out through the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), is expected to power Federal Universities and Teaching Hospitals with Solar energy.

The first phase of the project will include nine federal universities and one teaching hospital.

The Vice President said it was an important project for government as it would “improve general satisfaction and create an atmosphere where academic activities can thrive and go undisturbed.”

While noting that the Federal Government has made budgetary allocation to fund the project in some of the federal universities, the Vice President said the Bank’s support would also be welcome.

Mr vice president we all know in our hearts, including you, that this Apc led administration isn't gonna do any of those things you said up there.

And sometimes I even wonder what the hell is wrong with all this monetary institutions like AFDB and Co. Imagine giving $300m to Nigerian government some days back to tackle youth unemployement even with the high rate of corruption currently rocking this administration, did the bank even bother to ask how they Nigerian government intend to use the funds?

Incase AFDB hasn't realised, they are indirectly sponsoring terrorism since the haven't figured out that those loans and bail-out funds them and there likes give out to the Nigerian government is used to buy guns and empower herdsmen and Boko Haram.

OK. Tell us another lie.

I like to hear something like FG to power Universities with neclear energy. Like Uranium Power Project (UPP)

The VP forgot about telling us how they have partnered with Hisweow Minjuin Energy Industries in North Korea to build Nuclear Reactor inside Sambisa Forest and how the intend to empoy the resently released Boko Haram soilders to protect the plant because they are already familiar with the terrain.

The only thing that hurts me the most is that they all lie the same way; using the same lying format.

Politicians are made from the same raw materials. It's impossible for them to be truthful.
