If you voted Buhari in 2015, beg God for forgiveness  -Fayose

For bringing untold economic hardship and unprecedented level of insecurity upon Nigerians, Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has charged Nigerians who voted for President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 general election to specially beg God for forgiveness.

Mr. Fayose who said reports from Transparency International indicated that corruption has taken a surge under the Buhari administration warned Nigerians to vote out the APC in 2019 for the hardship that will befall the country if Buhari is re-elected is better imagined than experienced.

The governor made these assertions at the government house pavilion, Ado-Ekiti on Monday  while addressing representatives of teachers, local government workers and private sector operators who had gathered enmass under the Oshoko Mass Movement(OMM), a political group, to endorse the Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka as their  preferred candidate for the 2018 gubernatorial election.

The governor in his address also took a swipe at the immediate past governor of the state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi for not doing enough to unearth the natural resources which abound in various local government areas of the state. "There are natural deposits across Ekiti,  President Muhammadu Buhari spent #40b searching for crude oil in the North, what is Fayemi doing to unearth the minerals that abound here?", he asked.

Mr. Fayose thanked Ekiti teachers and parents for making it possible for the state to take a big leap in the secondary  education sector. "Ekiti people are not cut out for pretence, power belongs to the people, you have shown by your action here today that Eleka is the next governor of Ekiti State.  Ekiti was at number 34 in 2014 WAEC,  with the same set of teachers we came first in NECO in 2016 and 2017 back to back!  God bless my teachers", he said.

Reiterating that the emergence of Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka as deputy governor of Ekiti State was by divine providence, Mr. Fayose charged workers to ensure they get their permanent voter's card in preparation for the 2018 and 2019 elections even as they go out there to win five new voters into the Eleka fold.

So Fayose that can't pay workers salary in Ekiti State is now people's hero and mentor. Last time I checked Local Government staff , Ekiti teaching hospital staff, Ekiti State University lecturers and other higher institutions staff, Civil servants are owed months of salary and his here talking. Wait till July and see how PDP will loose Ekiti State and the next thing is to flee abroad and the same people that are supporting him and believed his not owing salary will start shouting Ekiti is worse governed state that they are owing salary not knowing that their hero left the salary arrears unpaid. They did it to Yahaya Bello of Kogi state when Idris Wada of PDP refused to pay salary same was done to Samuel Ortom of Benue state when Gabriel Suswam of PDP also refused to pay salary during their tenure.
