Well, As for me, i will simply go for CR.7-9 coz he is simply awesome, ,. He has played in 3 different leagues nd has achieved a lot of fits, Messi is only glued to one team which is barca only,

should ferguson do that, then i'll be the happiest manchester united fan coz chris is a super player, /watch out for him at the world cup, i know he's gonna explode, his speed, work rate, techniques of shooting and kicking the free kicks, jump power on air, decisiveness in split seconds are gonna give defenders lots of problems and scare managers, Am chris fan for life either he plays for my manchester united or eyimba united, when soup sweet, you've got to agree and lick your lips, then thank the woman that cook it,

ronaldo eclipses any player he plays with. for example, when he was in united, Rooney was in the shadows but now that he is gone, Rooney has appeared like a sunshine. The same goes for kaka, it seems that kaka doesnt even exist at times in madrid

I don't like Sir Alex one bit. He talks bullshit most times. That said though, if I am a Manager, I'll pick Ronaldo over Messi any time any day. On this case, Alex is spot on.

Dont mind Ferguson just because his tall defenders cant stop short Leo from scoring with a classic header on May 27, 2009.

Re: Ferguson: I'd Pay £60m To Have Ronaldo Back! by timmy7(m): 9:49am On May 07, 2010
Fergie is right on this, he is tested in england, portugal and now in spain. Messi only flourish in messing kak laliga teams of barca/madrid against d rest of laliga. Btw you guys should learn to read with undastanding, he didnt compare both as he has never managed messi, he only wants to stick with cr7 who flourish under his supervision

Re: Ferguson: I'd Pay £60m To Have Ronaldo Back! by kazman7(m): 11:53am On May 07, 2010
yes ronaldo is worth every penny and even more. ronaldo is as vital to madrid as messi for barca. look at the big picture. ronaldo has missed 19 matches this season which is 33% of all matches. messi has barely missed any. yet as things stand madrid are in the same position as barca except that one point, both being out of CL and copa del rey. like pellegrini said " we wud like to see barca go without messi for a month and see how they do".
Re: Ferguson: I'd Pay £60m To Have Ronaldo Back! by ddippset(m): 12:25pm On May 07, 2010
WHY DO YOU ALL SAY THAT MESSI DOES NOT PERFORM 4 ARGENTINA. IN 2005 @ U-20, ARGENTINA WON, HE WAS MVP, TOP SCORER, MAN OF THE MATCH IN FINAL( HAVING DESERVED 2 PENALTIES, SOME MAY DISAGREE), HE WON AN OLYMPIC GOLD 4 ARGENTINA(GIVING THE KILLER PASS 4 THE FINAL GOAL), GEMANY 2006, HE WAS STILL A SUBSTITUTE( 18 YRS OLD), PLAYED IN ONLY ONE SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPS AND THEY GOT 2 FINALS, AND THE BOY IS ONLY 22. AND UR BELOVED RONALDO HAS WON, EM EM EM , NOTHING EVER 4 PORTUGAL. SO?? ROONEY? NOTHING 4 ENGLAND. MESSI HAS ACHIEVED MORE 4 ARGENTINA THAN CHRISTIANO AND ROONEY 4 PORTUGAL AND ENGLAND. SO STOP HATING PLS! HA HA. PROVE ME WRONG HATERS OF THE LION.

LETS NOT BE DECEIVED OR FLATTERED BY THE RESULTS OF THE POLLS HERE ON MESSI AND RONALDO. ITS SIMPLE LOGIC, 95% OF EPL FANS LOVE RONALDO, 95% OF LA LIGA FANS LOVE MESSI. 90% OF NIGERIANS ARE EPL FANS, 10% ARE LA LIGA FANS. JUST DO THE MATH. MESSSSSSSSSSI!

simple logic 2. the more the games u play, the more ur strike potential and ability drops. if u miss a lot of games u are relatively fresh and have a higher goals potential than others. so ur excuse about ronaldo scoring despite his few games holds no waters. its senseless my guy.
Re: Ferguson: I'd Pay £60m To Have Ronaldo Back! by Emmacarnegie(m): 2:06pm On May 07, 2010
Did he send his sences on leave when he sold him 4 such huge amount and now sys that he can only buy him for that lesser amount
Re: Ferguson: I'd Pay £60m To Have Ronaldo Back! by segzicres(m): 2:42pm On May 07, 2010
ronaldo's worth all the bar that has been spent on him, but messi would have to prove himself outside barca.

@ ddippset, if your logic is right ,then every striker in the world would have love to play 20 matches per season so that they can score more goals than those that play 38 games in a season shocked what an unreasonable fellow, you are blinded by what is known to your wife

If you can afford messi's buy out clause, then he will definitely leave Barca but dues to his worth more than crynaldo, no club has been able to afford him. Everyplayer is for sale if only you can meet his price. Go Messi

. . . . .And in some slightly silly foreign gossip, Marca and the rest have been claiming that Real Madrid will swoop for Lionel Messi, matching his £120m buy-out clause.
The initial plan was to apparently throw the bid in during the build-up to the Champions League final, which is in Madrid, thus distracting player and club.

Now that Barcelona have not qualified there is no timescale on it, but Los Merengues are still keen. Messi, however, is not.

Eurosport

If CR9 is that good. . . . . . RM wouldn't have signed Angel Di Maria or still be chasing after Messi with so much desperation!
