Seeing the kind of treatment Dino a serving APC Senator is receiving now will scare the hell out of Fayose after he leaves office as Governor of Ekiti State.

APC is full of bitterness, as if public office is their birthright. I remember when Fashola lost his dad, Jonathan was physically there to condole with him. Then Jonathan lost his mother in-law and not even a word of condolence came from Fashola or any APC leader. What am I even saying? Was it not HID Awolowo (RIP) who said that when she lost her daughter, nobody from ACN/APC called or visited? Reason being that they accused her of playing neutral, blessing both APC and PDP aspirants who visited her. Mcheeewwww!

PDP unites every tribe in looting of national wealth hence the party's strong aversion for decentralisation of the national purse throughout its 16 years.

In actual fact republicanism made America what it is today as it espouses small size of government with limited interference on citizens's lives unlike the Democratic ideology which advocates large government and great control over citizens.
Republicans set slaves free from their owners who were mostly Democrats.
A typical American is Republican in orientation.
Unlike Democrats, Republicans are factual and blunt thus have no use for political correctness.
Therefore an average Nigerian with his culture of preference for lies and sweet talk would naturally resent Republicanism.

But before the coming to power of the Nigeria's version of Republicans both Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsman were operating simultaneously and independently.
However, we know that we, as a country, never envisaged that terrorism would one day become part of our national lives. The phenomenon caught us so unawares that the party in power was totally helpless while the terrorists had a field day freely capturing LGAs progressively towards the South and erecting their ugly flags in them. But the Republicans have been able to at least recover those LGAs and pushed back the sect.

A good display of maturity and sportsmanship but why will he not do that? when he's political ambition transcends beyond Ekiti because of his ambition towards Aso Rock. He's got no option than to do exactly this so as to score more points on his ambition.
