M.D= doctor of medicine=ph.D equivalent in medicine=consultant in that specialty of medicine.

From what you posted can you infere anything.
No one is asking for equal pay with Medical Doctors because JOHESU knows there will always be relativity.All they want is upward review of CONHESS which was done for CONMESS.
we have consultants in MLS,PHARMACY,PHYSIOTHERAPY,NURSING e.T.C of course,after undergoing rigorous study. In developed countries is there any conflict in their job specification between these consultants?
That is the condition NMA should give,consultancy status should be awarded if the professional in question has fulfilled all requirements that should be agreed upon By the parties involved(NMAand JOHESU).
We have postgraduate college of pharmacy,nursing,maybe physiotherapy and recently approved MLS.All these colleges should be empowered to carryout their functions.

When you juxtapose the salary, did you bother to factor in that the average salaries you are quoting for doctors are for the specialist/ consultant doctors.
You are comparing it with salaries of a newly graduated nurses, pharmacist, medlab and physiotherapist etc. Why not compare the salaries with a newly graduate doctor in those countries or are you just being mischivieous.

The first is intern nurses salary two years ago while the second is a recent resident doctors average pay in New York. The two year exponential growth pay for the RN is not factored in. Mind you this is coming from the same source.

mind you a doctor can choose to go into academics in any field so as to be a professor. The highest rank in practise is consultant(M.D). To be a professor you must go back to academics.
my consultant in radiology was also a professor of Anatomy. His profile goes with prof,ph.D,M.D
Check professor.Obikili in UNN. He is a radiologist and the director.
I argue with facts. The man had distinction in anatomy at UI. He graduated n specialized in radiology but went back to teach Anatomy in UNN but still practise as Radiologist in UNTH.
