The crisis in the Imo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, yesterday took a new dimension after leading chieftains of the party called on the national leadership of the party to expel Governor Rochas Okorocha from the party.

The demand was made by Senators Ifeany Ararume, Hope Uzodinma, Osita Izunaso and other party leaders.

The stakeholders in a petition to the national leadership of the party asserted that for the party to be repositioned to win the Southeast in 2019, it must get rid of Governor Okorocha.

In a strong-worded letter to the national chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the stakeholders said, “As our party chairman, kindly bring to the notice of our dear President that should the governor in his megalomania procure further violence in his child like tantrums, a state of emergency in Imo State would be a natural consequence.
There’s no other state that the president visited five times to appeal to its people and yet we wobbled. Our party must rid itself of this incorrigible worm, he is indeed a cankerworm.
“This attempt to drag the state into further violence in the face of a non-existent state assembly only points to the complete breakdown of an already non-existent governance for which the state of emergency envisaged in the Section 305 of our Constitution is to be declared”.

Those who signed the letter on behalf of Imo APC stakeholders include Senators Ben Uwajimogu, Hope Uzodinma, Ifeanyi Araraume, Osita Izunaso, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, Hon. Mike Ohia and Hon. Austin Chukwukere.
The APC chairman in Oguta Local Government, who is the leader of all the APC local government chairmen in the state, Hon. Cassidy Ohamara equally aligned his group with the contents of the letter.
They thanked the National Working Committee of the party “for standing firm to the rules and guidelines of our party and upholding our duly conducted and video recorded congresses across our State, inspite of the unruly and unlawful conduct/misconduct of our state governor, who happens to be one of our party members”.
“You may thus be alarmed that with the near bankruptcy of our state, reeling in this wanton misgovernance, is yet the subject of the threat contained in the governor’s letter to you stating that he is aware of the burning of the Secretariat of our party. Whilst threatening further mayhem. He also has forwarded to you his videos of those he caught with result sheets (which the party did not report missing). The governor having arrested those people (who are contractors of Government House, Owerri), and having called the police and the media himself, proceeded to conduct the investigation himself”.
The letter was copied the President Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chairman and Deputy Chairman (South) of the Party, National Assembly, all State Governors, the National Security Adviser, the Inspector General of Police, DG, Department of State Services as well as members of the National Working Committee NWC of the party for necessary action.

Our democracy is stagnant

Okorocha wants to play with Imo people. Lolz.

Apc in general plays a childish politics but Okorocha's own is second to none, and you'd still see them claiming political experts. They always think that everything must be all about lying and propaganda. Ohakim will be better than Okoroawusa because at least Ohakim is still accepted in his party and will hastily be received in any other party he decides to join, but Okoroawusa's problem is eating him up right from inside and no other major party is willing to accept him, imagine APGA rejecting him with his N3 billion, who needs a statue merchant as their member. Okoroawusa is finished.

But wetin concerns me sef.........

Okoroawusa have you seen your life? When guys left their work, sat even on the major roads to protect their votes for you when you contested on APGA platform. What did you later do? You attempted to destroy same platform that brought you to power. You forgot what people went through for you and made yourself god forgetting that Mr Karma was taking record of your evils.
Now he has visited you in his own right time, just cry not and enjoy it.

Okorocha really messed things up for himself,

Upon on the enemity and blunders former governor of abia state, Chief TA orji committed, today no body remembers his sins anymore becos he played his card wisely by not only fixing his loyal man known as gov ikpeazu,

He went to a zone that has not produced the governor of the state and picked his successor and abia people forgot all his sins and voted his candidate,

As for okorocha, what I expected him to do was to pick a successor from Okigwe or owerri zone but instead, he was busy propping up his miniature inexperienced greedy son-in-law,

Imo people is the most sensitive politically inclined elements in Nigerian politics,

They have a record of fixing whom they want anytime anyday ,

Another problem okoroacha would have encountered if at the end of the day he was able to grab the apc structure will be the church especially Catholic Church faithfuls, in imo state, they constitute about 65% of the voting population, they sent ikedi ohakim packing in 2015, and the hatred they have for okorchas regime is second to none,

In all things, I think the political glory has left okorocha and his family members,

He refused to learn and I think what happened to ohakim will be a child's play compare to what will become of Rocha's dynasty after May 2019,

I think apc at national level has also discovered that okorocha has become a political liability from the day he started moulding failures as statures in imo state, they are paying him back in his own coin

I rest my case for now.
