Wife of a Federal House of Representatives hopeful in Ondo West and East Federal Constituency, Dr Rhoda Makinde has once again through her women empowerment initiative; Dromi (Dr Rhoda Makinde Initiative) empower women in dire need of entrepreneurial equipments in Ondo.
The empowerment program which took place at the ADC party secretariat in Ondo west had tons of women have to themselves various equipments for entrepreneurship ranging from sewing machines to hair dryers, Power generating machine, Grinders, Fridges at the end of the event.



The America based medical practitioner who was proudly flanked by her husband, Former Chairman of Ondo west local government and Federal house of Assembly aspirant, Hon. Abiola Makinde in her address emphasized that “ Dromi is an empowerment scheme that seeks to empower women regardless of party affiliation, ethnic group and religious background”
She further said she wants to create and raise awareness among initiatives that will make women, take their rightful place in the society.
After her speech, Hon Abiola Makinde further reassured everyone in his native Ondo dialect that, the end has not come to what he and his wife has in stock as far as empowering people is concern. He therefore urged everyone to support him and his wife with their prayers.
