Go read again the Benin-Igala wars in the 16th century.. where do you think Queen Idia got her fame from? or you don't know that after the wars finally ended Igala became a Benin vassal state paying annual tributes till it was finally free when the Fulani Jihad started.

The Igala staged a suprise attack on Benin City, coming in through the creeks undetected till they arrived at the door of the capital and started their attack.. After days of fighting the Benin forces was able to repel the attack and chased the Igala army back to Igala and then that was when the real war started. A war which the Benin Kingdom won resoundingly and Igala became a vassal state to Benin.

So it is not as if the Igalal army marched all the way from Igala conquering towns till they reach Benin city.. They wouldn't have pass the Afemai regions, not to talk of the fierce Ishan lands in the middle.. They would have been defeated at the Northern province the Kingdom..

How do you know if that account in the bible is not what we are talking about here? Where are the artefacts that were carted away in Jerusalem? What is the distance of Babylon to Jerusalem that the Bible described as a king of fierce countenance that does not understand the language of those in Jerusalem?
