I am an introvert and currently battling with social anxiety . My question is this, how do I overcome it cuz I will not lie ,this thing is killing me inside . I can't even walk past a group of females , I would feel like the earth should swallow me up . Pls nairalanders is there anyone battling such , what do I have to start doing to overcome this .

First of all, these things are of the mind, you have to make a conviction to overcome the anxiety before anyone can help you with titbits. Because you're an introvert will make it more harder on you.

Do you have friends that you roll with? if not, make some asap, that is also another step in helping you with your anxiety, but the most part of it rests on you.

Be confident. Even if you don't feel confident, act like you are.

Practice speaking in front of the mirror before speeches.
