haha i have finally read up to page 32  grin grin lots of funny comments. me i switched off after first half and switched to argentina game

but i digress now here is my objective in watching the world cup henceforth
1, i want to see the USA disgraced and bitch slapped out of the world cup. this single event will give me a hardon the size of texas

2, to see britain bitchslapped and disgraced

3, to see how far ghana will go.

nothing else or no other team interests me anymore. these are my 3 objectives  grin

As far as i'm concerned, This is the best display i have seen from the eagles in a very very very long while. Kanu was truly inspirational in his command of the midfield. A befitting swansong methinks. With time, this team under lagerback will go places though i also believe that now is the need for a fresh injection of younger players to give the team a new face. I am proud of you all. This kind of play with only 2weeks blending? I'm proud of you eagles in defeat. Till next year nations cup, Salut.

It's such an irony that Nigerians came up with the word 'maga', cos right now I can not find a better word to sum-up the performance in this whole competition. Grown men paid to play ball, reverted to being spectators. I never saw them make any conscious effort, rather they seemed fascinated by their opponents, the ref and the linesman, as though they were star studded. Always asleep and sheepish, no discipline whatsoever, no drive, no hunger. It was disgusting. No focus whatsoever - Absolute magas.

Until further notice, if anybody ever call me a Nigerian again, I will place a generational curse on them. I refuse to be identified with such maganess.

Yeah, they showed glimpses of what might have been had they prepared earlier. They sort of ran out of games. To me, as poorly as they have been in this world cup, they played the best football of the African contingent. They outplayed North Korea, which they should, mind, even though I feared South Korea before the world cup begun. I think the tragedy of the African contingent this World Cup has been Nigeria
They had the potential to go very far.

Now I hope that all the luck that deserted us today goes to Ghana and Algeria.

Yes, the players available had the potential to go far in this world cup. The next world cup belongs to a new crop of players.
