NBM is a legally registered body and according to their PR, it is not open to student cadre and as such they do not have any activities on any campus. Except for the guns, these guys have done nothing wrong. I hope the Police did not plant the guns as usual. But if they were truly caught with guns then they must face the law.

Back in the days in the university, I lived my life freely without fear and molestation from anyone. I mingled and socialised with the high and the low, staff and lecturers.

The moment I joined a group due to pressure from friends, my academic performance began to drop as I no longer go to the library or attend class regularly as I used to.
I began to have enemies I created by myself and for myself because if you ain't with us then you are against us,therefore a foe.
Everyone is a suspect. I became afraid of even my own shadows because death can come from nowhere at anytime.

I saw young promising men cut down in their prime,butchered or shot to death, while some are given indelible marks that will live with them till they meet their maker.

One day I decided that this whole nonsense must stop if I have to succeed in my academics...the very reason why I'm here.
I wrote a letter to the school authority and to my group... no GSM then,denouncing my membership. I was threatened by the group executioner and they came for me actually but didn't see me amongst the five guys and a lady I was standing with in front of our lecture hall...something I believe is a mystery.

Finally I was left alone, I had extra year though but I made it good and came out with a good grade and alive at the end.

My advice to the youth....you can be who you want to be without getting involved in campus cultism. They promise you everything that ain't true, but the truth is that the very day you are initiated,you become your own enemy.

Shun cultism it doesn't pay. The wages of being a cultist is always death in most cases.
