Ronnie played with etoo and many of those you mentioned. And together they had a champions league and many Liga. Messi also came up, but he was more of a supporting cast behind Deco Etoo Ronnie and Giuly. Then Xavi and Iniesta.

These are the real people that made the bone of the tiki taka barca.

Now the point is in a nutshell, before Messi Barca was great. So your point about Ronaldo does not hold water.
