but his bad way of handling the economy did.
A man that only thinks of farm and cows only.
While other side of the world, their President thinks of technology, innovation and great economical ideas

God bless you.

5 millions job has already be created through rice farming alone.
From 3m rice farmers to 8m rice farmers.

Other farmers have increase from 10m to 25m farmers.

Buhari didn't create any job through farming, rather he created food for cows by encouraging farmers.

just in the 90s here,
prof in China once dropped their ties and enter farm.
They were able to generate wealth through their population,

If we can feed ourselves as a nation and reduced importation,
With our population in African, we will be self sufficient, and the gain can be use to advanced technology.
like I said farming will feed your people but won't make them rich..
The world has moved 3times
1st it was Agriculture. Many nations of the world made money and job opportunities with it that was in the 70s/80s
2nd was industrialization that was in 80s/90s
Now 3rdly we are the time of technology, let's make money and create jobs Jobs for our people.
Thank you

Good, buhari is working and the jobless aggressive lazy idiotic pigs of Biafra are not feeling it because they are aggressively lazy.

They don't want to enter farm, they are looking for lazy work of importation to do,
This was how their ineffectual buffoon kill the economy by empowering lazy idiotic pigs to be importing all manner of goods like shit and toothpick.
Is that the kind of employment that will sustain the economy,?
will that sustain the economy?, so where is the job the ineffectual buffoon created?

Moreover, this report is when we were officially in recession.
As importation business has reduced, which throw millions of the jobless aggressive lazy idiotic pigs of Biafra into labor market.

I know the jobless aggressive lazy idiotic pigs of Biafra will dispute the next report before 2019 election and that will be favourable more than 2014.
They will be crying of fake report.

Errrhhhmmmmm

Mind your language Sir
It goes a long way in helping others understand your comments if its sanitized, thanks very much!!

Now to the matter..

I believe the jobs affected would be white collar jobs not importation fronts/ cartels which will not reflect in this exercise... Maybe under tax revenues but not here.

Do let's be factual and not be given or drawn to the follies of partisanship or tribal slants.

Jobs have been lost in many sectors over the last year or so....name it -- banking, telecommunications, manufacturing, and allied services.
Remember the forex fiasco!!!

Companies have pulled their services out.
FDI has reduced drastically
We are no longer courted by new investors hoping 9ja is the new El Dorado.
The old ones are scrutinising contracts to seek and take the least punitive get-out clauses!!!

Financially, its abysmal despite monies raised via bonds and other government instruments: foreign loans and monies being repatriated.

It would take a great degree of self-deceit not to acknowledge this.

The economy needs sustainance and diversification with credible initiatives measured in a smart format. The extreme focus on corruption tipped the economy perilously over the edge. Even a mosquito was deemed corrupt. The lack of balance was so overt and only made worse the underlying lack of VISION!!!

There has been little by way of implementing a macro-policy with an overarching consensus.

Rather it's micro managing the system, chasing little fires here and there whilst the entire forest is systematically being consumed in a raging inferno!!!

Lack of a desire to sort this out is cleverly hidden under confabulation!

I disagree.
FDI was into stock market not into infrastructural development which is the real sector.
Such fictitious economy can never be sustainable. It will not last, the foreign investors only came to make profit on short term and runaway.
Under this government, you can see the FDI are into infrastructure.
Buhari has visited almost all nations to attract them, as you can see from those signing of agreement with foreigners into infrastructure.

Instead of your ineffectual buffoon to attract foreign investors into power sector, he sold it to his cronies local criminals.

I hear you...

But we are talking about 2 different things.

The topic at hand is 8 million pple have lost their jobs-- largely white collar jobs..

To answer your question rather quickly...

FDI is quite important, as one could argue depending on the economic life cycle at the time,it may be more important than infrastructural development.

Personally they should go hand in hand if the opportunity presents itself.

The FDI though primarily in the stock market buoyed up the economy: increased spending power in addition to increased borrowing due to strong confidence in performance. This supported both micro and macro economies on the short to mid-term range.
In manufacturing and the service industry, it helped run and sustain the economy.

The infrastructural investment you have identified but is not publicly known, will support on the longterm... But what happens in between??

The people suffer, no food, no housing, no clothing, no good healthcare, mortality increases, fertility drops...

According to your theories, your infrastructures are in place, the populace is either malnourished, ill or not in a position to buy.. Then infrastructure wilts as there's nobody to use or maintain or refurbish!!

Life is a cycle/ continuum.. Disuse atrophy soon sets in, leading to maladies or malaises.

Overall, Balance is a perspective this administration lacks...obvious in a lot of their policies.!!

Every government tries to build on the predecessor's achievements. Selfish ones will try to rename or rehash previous achievements as theirs but the people aren't suffering!!

Decimating the economy handed over to him was a great error of judgment on Buhari's part!!

Buhari no sabi book, no get WEAC, but he knows how to transfer jobs and power to his Fulani people.
At a rate of 8 million lost jobs in 2 years, after 4 years it will be at least 16 million. And if you give him another 4 years, just imagine the figures!
