Brother, these very herdsmen crisis is coined to blackmail the govt. Because there are so many big rich people who are not enjoying and Chopin Nigeria the way they use to in the expense of the masses infrastructural development. Do you think your enemy cannot kill your territory to frame you? Let me tell the way people are use to free corrupted money they can do anything to get it back
hmmm....I think the situation we are in is a complex one.
All fingers are pointed to the political class whether in the opposition or the government of the day.
and I believe that our political system is fundamentally flawed; reason why we see some politicians using or creating calamities to gain political point or woo the voters to their side.
Our political system should be restructured in such a way that only politicians with ideology are able to get to the top leadership position in this country.
If that's done, then Nigeria will surely rise again.

StillX10:
It both politically and religiously motivated

Politically : to destabilize places where Buhari has poor chances of winning election

Religiously :to dispel non-Muslims from their own lands and a purely Islamic lands headed specially by the Fulani: part of the islamisation agenda
gan
In support of your position, it is more of religion than politics. Buhari said openly that he wants sharia every where across the country even when he was not a president. Now that the opportunity of authority has come his way, he is working seriously to actualize it. Hence the various invasion of kill all and occupy that is happening. They occupy and renamed the places they have captured. Has the president or any of his officer ever ask the invaders to quit the places? They will never do because it's an agenda they are implementing.

I personally believe if the people in authority has the political will to deal decisively with this herdsmen, they are going to stop their evil killings.
Politicians got to have the will to deal with this evil.

We will not go far as a country if we didn't come together to elect good and visionary leaders.

Visionary leaders make great nation.

I have come to understand that if you depend on the government to survive, you will be terribly disappointed. You need to think of what value can do legitimately offer for the society that will in turn bring resources your way.

Our selfish leaders will not give us social security as done in other developed clime except if they want to use and dump you during and after election.

This is one of my link on how you can add value to the society to survive.
Read and thank me later

Everyday we hear killings ,maiming, kidnapping, etc that should have been avoided if government has risen to its responsibilities.
When are going to hold our government at every level responsible?
Re: Is Fulani Herdsmen Attack Politically Motivated? by jamace(m): 9:16pm On Oct 27, 2018
It is not politically motivated. If it was, Buhari and his overzealous security agencies would have dealt with such politicians.

It is ethno-religious. Fulani ethnicity regrouping in Nigeria from all over Africa, using the leverage of their son being at the helm of affairs in Nigeria. Aim of the herdsmen is to grab as much lands as possible from the natives by fire by force. And that is why no killer fulani is ever arrested by the security forces for fear of the vengeful Buhari.

I will want to agree with you to a certain extent.
Nigerians are divided along the ethnic and religious line.
Muslim want to support his fellow Muslim brethren ,the same way a christian will be tend to support his own brothers;the same way hausa ,Igbo and the Yoruba's tend to support their own.
Nevertheless, I still want to believe that all of these should not have come into play if the political class are jot making use of our different background to cause division to their own advantage.
Everyone of them saying what their brethren (religion or ethnic) want to hear to garner support even if its at a disadvantage to other groups.
When are we going to move pass this stage for Gods sake?

We are the problem of ourselves.
How would we be voting for political candidates based on ethnic or religious affiliation? Why are we not voting base on capability and capacity of candidates?

Risking your life for any politician because of the stipends you will collect is not worth it.
At the end of the election, both the incubent and the opposition politicians will still realign with each others for their personal interest.
