This lady is not a new appointee as she's already minister for state, budget and national planning. Some criticisms against the president with respect to lopsided appointments are justified but most definitely not this one.

I didn't see anywhere it was stated she's a temporary replacement oo. And then I said i'll be able to judge better when I read more about her. FM is so sensitive that not all qualified people are able to do the job, so why give someone the job because she read accounting? From what OP posted here there's nothing impressive relating to the post of Finance minister.
Taking nothing away, she's had a good career but Buhari, i think, appointed her because she was in his cabinet already and maybe the closest qualified of all his cabinet members.
