The Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) chairman announced that APC won 11Local Government chairmanship position out of the 13 local governments where elections were held while collation of result were ongoing.

The announcement did not provide the number of votes scored by the contestant nor did he nor the electoral officers announce the other election results for the councillors of the local government.
