It seems 2015 is the first election u witnessed in Nigeria, U must be 17 years old Sir. Buhari lost Kastina, Sokoto n Kano state n many other northern states against Yaradua in 2007, Yaradua is not even a popular northerner. Buharis popularity is just basic, whenever a northern Muslim is contesting in an election against a southern Christian , The north votes enmass for the northerner. I'm 2015 Gombe people naturally voted the person they usually vote n that is a Muslim, They have also been voting Muslims on Gombe presidential elections since 1999, It's not a big deal.
