A male feminist has listed some of the things he's been accused of for pushing for women's rights.

According to popular Twitter User with the username Dayo the Champagne Socialist, he has been accused of not being a real man because he believes in gender equality. He's also been accused of being broke and looking for a wife, hence his need to try to please women. Some have also accused him of being over-educated.
But he said these wouldn't stop him from pushing for gender equality.

The guy should just ignore them.Nigerians who claim to hate feminist or feminism do not know half about the movement even on NL you would see clueless people talking about feminism just shake your head and move on.
The energy they use to criticise the movement seem too much how can you be so against people who you claim to be online only.

When you discuss feminism with intellectuals for or against the movement you would be happy but on NL the reverse is the case so many clueless anti feminist who do not know half about the negative or positive about the movement would be giving opinions against it grin

Do you know me do you know my name or anything about me or anything I do that is contrary to what I claim here if you do bring out the evidence if not forever hold your peace.Stop living in assumptions donstan and I don't do any of those things you mentioned.
And yes I am a feminist,liberal and freethinker those are my ideologies.You cannot tell me who I am or what I am only I get to do that.
Sorry if your reality is bitter mine is not even though the country is hard I am making my best out of the situation living happily and contented.

I am not against feminism.... What I am against is the rate at which some Nigerian ladies join the bandwagon without knowing the true meaning of it.... And I can say that most Nigerian feminists are products of broken homes, divorce, etc.... grin

Only few understand....

You overlooked the problems your fellow men face with the opposite gender and you went to pitch your tent on the other side, as if they can't champion for their own rights themselves.

It's one thing when you stand in to defend a female in the face of oppression and another thing to wear the full badge of a feminist when you are a friggin male with a phallus.

He should probably do a boobs job like bobrisky cos I don't know which male circle you want to sit in and be discussing women empowerment and all that unnecessary stuff when there are more important things bothering men to talk about
