Good day Nlanders.
I created this new moniker just to get some unbiased and mature comments...

So, I have been with my fiance for some months now and we plan to get married next year. Everything was going well until she got work as a nurse. She gives injections and also takes blood BUT the issue here is that she occasionally pricks herself with a used syringe(accidental), whenever she wants to cap it (after taking samples or giving injections). This has caused me serious concern as she usually feels depressed after the incident, especially with fear of getting infected from contaminated bloods. I've told her to be more careful next time but it repeated itself again. This time, the patient she injected was suspected to have HIV (because of his notorious lifestyle). She came back almost in tears that day, after narrating the incident. But luckily for us after some tests the patient was confirmed to be HIV negative.
After heaving a huge sigh of relief, i'm still scared she might make the same mistake again and might not be so fortunate.
Should i still go ahead with the wedding given the risks?

YES, she did her own test and it was negative.

I think she should either be more careful or quite the job, what you call accidental pricks which from your narrative seems often is very dangerous to her health and you the hubby.
Pls be guided........

Could it be that she is already infected with HIV and trying to use that as a cover up so that when you find out, it will look like it was due to her carelessness??

I smell lies here. Wasn't she trained before she got the work or she just got the job out of the blues and started handling syringes & needles?
You want out of the relationship, pls go ahead and spare us these lies!

I understand your fear dear cos even when the love is there, some things can't be overlooked.

...Try sit her down and talk to her about your fears...she should understand if she is matured. If possible, suggest her leaving the job for something else at the moment until she is properly schooled about this use of needles.
