Nairaland Original: 2 Nairaland Besties Getting Married After 11 Years

There is something so amazingly exciting about getting married to your best friend! And it becomes pretty fairy when she's like the full kid sister that he never had; and he's like the full big brother that she never had.

But it feels even a bit heavenly when (as a bonus) she instinctively acts like the mom he lost as a kid (like trimming his nails at any chance, and putting her feet firmly on the ground about how he should dress, etc). Whilst, on the other hand, he instinctively acts like the dad she lost as a kid (like pushing pretty hard against both her Dean of Student Affairs and the DG of NYSC, when her service year was delayed for no wrongs of her doings).

This friendship began more than 11 years ago. At a stage, for 5 years at a stretch, we were opposed by an all powerful stakeholder who would have nothing else but see us go apart. Of course we got so discouraged severally and can't count how many times we almost gave up altogether. But the bond wouldn't just break.

Well, here we are today. We have become totally victorious. It is the day of our power and everyone is now willing to see us together. Every entity and all elements in creation are collaborating harmoniously to make the day a reality!

This is the lord's doing and it's marvelous in our eyes. It is the day which the lord has made; and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Please, kindly join us to rejoice and praise God for this amazing day!

For the groom:please sir be faithful to your marriage bed even when she doesn't open her legs, help her continue in the things that made you love her, don't see her as a property because she isn't, and finally, don't become stingy or else....... For the couple :if you believe in God, pray to him always for strength and joy because joy is divine and not from any partner.
