Too bad.. I recall same happening to my neighbor at bar beach on new year's day of 2005

I avoid all forms of water bodies since then, most especially festive periods

Just narrate how it happened than typing visit my blog to watch live tragic scene. No life vest or any form of floating aids. #rip young blood

This is really unfortunate. Oniru does have lifeguards. However playing in water is sweet: as such young people often disregard the lifeguards warning to move close to shore wanting to go deeper, show their swimming skill and ride the wave.

From the video it seems he was rescued, I however hope that he survives.

I am an excellent swimmer but I will never try a Lagos beach ..RIP Youngin
