While all the zombies are busy praising the big blunder of PMB is violating the constitution by unilaterally suspending the CJN, the AGF has started doing damage control by sending the report of the CJN investigation to NJC for further actions.

Like I always say we don't have to foolishly support every actions of PMB.
The president should remove all those who misadvised him to suspend the CJN.
Take it or leave it, the suspension of the CJN had caused great damage to PMB's reputation and electoral fortunes.

There are fifth columnists in APC that are deliberately misadvising the president to make mistakes. The sad reality is that must of PMB's supporters make themselves vulnerable and gullible by their blind supports.
Is it your fortune ?

The int'l community has a major say in what goes around in a nation or else we will continue to have leaders especially in African countries ruling with impunity.

Pls osho should hold his peace and control his mouth and not destroy the international relations we have labored to build over the years with these foreign nations as well as limiting our chances as citizens in gaining entering into these nations .

God bless Nigeria.

That is the typical reaction to criticism when those running a third word country are slipping into tyranny and dictatorship. Mugabe, Gbagbo, Chavez, saddam Hussein, Maduro and their goons are on record saying such.

They pander to emotions and empty national pride instead of addressing the issue raised. Those countries have seen the rigging plans. Same countries APC praised before last election. Did we get our independence after May 2015? shocked shocked

But your oga Buhari runs to same UK to treat ear infection and other ailments spending months there. Same with Tinubu. None of you can stay a full week in Nigeria without visiting these Western countries. Maybe those countries should deny Buhari access to their excellent health care henceforth.

Shameless dwarf.

If Buhari suspended CJN for no just course it's a different scenario. But this man violated the law first, failed to appear before the court, postponed the NJC meeting indefenitely.. All because his trying to avert justice . for not declaring his asset. It's funny and sad onoghen supporters don't mention any of that. Biased MOFO
If you catch a thief red-handed and you kill the thief, what do you think will happened? You will be prosecuted for murder while the thief will be prosecuted for theft. Check my posts, I was one of those that called for the prosecution of the CJN if he refused to resign honorably. But the rule of law must be followed irrespective how defective it is.

The international community knew that the CJN is culpable. But they had studied our laws and they have seen that the president did not follow due process. I am sure the presidency will do some damage control. YES ONOGHEN IS CULPABLE. BUT THE PRESIDENT WAS WRONG.

Is it not curious that the vice president who is a SAN is silient on this issue...? Any lawyer that knows his onions will abstain from encouraging disregard for the rule of law because the whole world is watching.

Oshomole, I am not surprised this is coming from you, because the love for money and power has turned your brain inside out, as former labor leader there was never a time you made a speech with calling on the international community to witness what is going in the country, so now you dont want the US to intervene, you guys are very wrong.

My Kind advice for you all dictators, is to start looking for holes to hide because if you all cause problem for this country, you will never go unpunished, you all like hiding in holes like saddam and gaddafi

Oshiomhole condemned the statements at the Presidential Villa after the APC Senate caucus and the party’s senatorial candidates met with President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Nigeria is not a colony. We will not accept any foreign interference in the internal affairs of Nigeria,” he said.

He argued that judges get dismissed in Europe and the United States without interference.

“They (judges) have been dismissed across the world when they are found guilty of corruption and the western world cannot, on the one hand when it suits them, describe Nigeria as fantastically corrupt and when a corrupt judicial officer is being charged, people want to interfere.”

Oshiomhole’s comments were in reaction to questions about the criticism that had trailed the suspension of the CJN.

Amid the storm caused by the suspension, the UK, the US, and the EU said in separate statements that they were concerned about the development.

While the UK said the timing “gives cause for concern”, the US said it “undercuts the stated determination of the government, candidates, and political party leaders to ensure that the elections proceed in a way that is free, fair, transparent, and peaceful – leading to a credible result”.

The Presidency has since criticised their reaction, warning that the government won’t tolerate interference, a position Oshiomhole defended on Monday.

Apart from faulting the statements, Oshiomhole called on Nigerians to defend the country’s sovereignty.

“I think we all have to be careful. We must defend the sovereignty of our country,” he said.

Despite his criticism, he said Nigeria remained open to maintaining a relationship with other countries.

“We welcome collaboration, we welcome peer review; we can compare notes. We welcome people who are interested in sharing experiences with us wherever the need arises whether it is capacity building or making useful suggestions on how we can improve on our electoral process. Those are very valuable contributions that we appreciate,” Oshiomhole said.

Good talk by Adams Oshiomole, there is no one anywhere in the world that someone can't be fired if they do a bad job or found wanting of ethics violation BUT I do have a few questions for this bombastic baboon of a man

1. The western countries you are comparing Nigeria to, do they have 204 historic tribes with different dialects like Nigeria? Answer is NO

2. Does one party win and takes all key position's in the country like the APC has done in Nigeria? NO.... because there are coalitions to form a broad based government

3. Does the President or Prime Minister of these western countries make lopsided appointments to give key positions to politicians or bureaucrat's from one region of the country only, as Buhari is doing in Nigeria? NO

4. in those countries Oshiomole mentioned, do the factors of nationhood and institutions binding the people together (in terms of common language, values system, access to welfare, equity, fairness, human rights, work opportunities, justice system, minority protection, etc) stronger than what we have in Nigeria ? The answer is a big fat YES

5. In those countries OSho is talking about, do the friends, party men and acolytes of the sitting president enjoy undeserved immunity from prosecution when there are credible breath-taking petitions of corruption? Answer is NO

So, Mr. OSho, concentrate more of washing your wife kpata, and stop talking about things you don't know OR things you know but flagrantly avoid saying the truth because it is politically expedient..

*Is Russian meddling on the cards in Nigeria’s 2019 election?*

*By Bernard Oluwole/New Jersey*

The 2016 election in the United States opened my eyes to collusion and by collusion, I mean the ‘Russian Collusion’ that has led Special Counsellor Robert Mueller on an investigation. As an African American I’m seeing similar signs unravel in Nigeria and I think a collusion might on the cards.

That Atiku Abubakar, one of the presidential candidates, share the same lobbyist as President Donald Trump should be worrying to Nigerians but more disturbing is the fact that the same night that Abubakar slept at the Trump Hotel, Vice President Mike Pence was at the hotel.

That was not a coincidence in my books, it was well orchestrated by Brian Ballard, a well-known lobbyist and a long-standing Trump ally, there the collusion must have been agreed.

Fast forward to last week, the President of Nigeria for some reasons suspended the Chief Justice of Nigeria and the reaction of Abubakar and his party was startling. They decided to suspend their campaign. Who does that? Is the CJN a member of their party?

No, it only goes to show that he has been assured that even if he doesn’t campaign, he will win the election. You’re probably wondering, why I said that, the statement of the UK, US and EU after the suspension pointed to a collusion.

Following the official statements released by the US, UK and EU on the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, who has immediately been replaced by an acting CJN, one begins to see an all too familiar pattern.
The sovereignty of the Nigerian state is sacrosanct; hence this gang-up is not being convened in the best interest of Nigeria.

We are still watching the daily revelations coming out from the probe of Russian meddling and collusion in the US Presidential Elections of 2016 which produced Donald Trump as US President. For our ‘friends’ in the US, UK and EU, their stance clearly amounts to crying more than the bereaved.
They would not condone such infractions from their own judges, so it is baffling how they want to advise Nigeria to do the same.

Senior justices have been suspended and tried in American and British courts, but we never heard their outcry, why is it that Nigeria has suddenly become their favorite now that Onnoghen got suspended?

We know that Atiku desperately lobbied to get into the US using a PR firm that is loyal to Trump, so the swift alignment of the Trump administration that is mouthing the same words as the PDP is not surprising, millions of dollars are doing the talking here.

The UK government also tried its best to ensure safe passage to Atiku from UK to US but could not succeed until Ballard Partners were signed up to do the job. America should first take care of her domestic problems arising from the ongoing US government shutdown, before trying to pontificate on Nigerian matters. It would do well for the UK and EU to realize that the colonial era is long gone, and Nigeria is an independent nation. We need not cross any lines here.

This trend of events portrays a grand plan of interference and meddling in Nigerian affairs in order to effect a clandestine change of government by any means necessary.

Only the real voters of Nigeria have the right to decide who wins on February 16 and will get sworn in to occupy Aso Villa as from May 29, 2019.
