Re: Mtn Hynet--- by ggvsat: 8:06pm On Jun 30, 2011
stop using foul words. why do u have to go for 1MB wat do u need that much speed for? it u need that much bandwidth then try Fibre as there would be no restrictions as to what u can download.
Re: Mtn Hynet--- by Mobinga: 9:47pm On Jun 30, 2011
ggvsat:What sort of idiotic rip off is that? $475 for a month? Are you/mtn out of your minds? Outrageous pricing, I don't blame them, I blame the NCC, since they deal on bribes MTN can afford to quote imbecilic prices and nobody says shlt.
Look at ComCast, the best plan they currently have is $99 per month, with 15mbps and mtn offers 1 mbps and says $475. Nigerians are fools.

Re: Mtn Hynet--- by gogetter09: 3:57pm On Jul 29, 2011
PLEASE I WANT TO TO KNOW IF I CAN CANNOT THE HYNET MODEM TO AN EXTERNAL ROUTER FOR A LONGER DISTANCE AND RANGE,, BECAUSE MY ROUTER I HAVE AT HOME CAN GO OVER 700METERS,, SO THAT IF IT CAN BE CONNECTED TO AND EXTERNAL ROUTER IT WILL BE OK BY ME.
AND SECONDLY WHAT IS THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN THE TWO MODEMS,, BECAUSE IF I CAN NOT CONNECT TO AN EXTERNAL ROUTER IT DOES NOT MAKE A COMPLETE SENSE,, SINCE THE TWO MODEM TRANSMITT AT THE SAME SPEED AND RATE,, THANKS YOU ALL
Re: Mtn Hynet--- by AkoEja: 1:37pm On Aug 13, 2011
If you have on the hourly,, is there any restriction on how much megabytes you can download?
Re: Mtn Hynet--- by JUO(m): 3:56pm On Aug 13, 2011

Re: Mtn Hynet--- by nateevs(m): 11:49pm On Aug 13, 2011
How can any ISP justify N63,000 per month for 1Mb of bandwidth?
What exactly in the process of transmission requires so much money?
£242 a month.
Re: Mtn Hynet--- by Mobinga: 1:54am On Aug 14, 2011

Re: Mtn Hynet--- by Djcn: 12:30pm On Aug 14, 2011
Pls who can give the available locations of the hynet service? Is PH included?
Re: Mtn Hynet--- by samir101ng(m): 2:27pm On Aug 14, 2011
Here are the locations:
Lagos, Port Hacourt, Ibadan, Illorin, Benin, Warri, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi
Port Hacourt is included on their site and the MTN Hynet Brochure but confirm from the local MTN office on the availability of service (coverage) in your location. Abuja, sadly, is not among.
Re: Mtn Hynet--- by Djcn: 5:55pm On Aug 14, 2011
Thanks, As far as i'm concerned MTN hynet has the best offering when compared with services form ipnx, Swift, Dopc, mobitel who also place data caps on downloads. I just hope the service will be fast. I'm tired of their data caps. Will be checking it out at their office.
Re: Mtn Hynet--- by samir101ng(m): 10:44am On Aug 15, 2011
Yes, the MTN Hynet service offers unlimited bandwidth. It is based on Wimax technology so it should be relatively stable. Please let us know how things turn out at the MTN office and current prices of the service. Thanks.
