Venom236:
A political group has urged Nigerians to ignore the fake news that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has resigned from his position.

The Initiative to Save Democracy (ISD) described the unscrupulous rumour as the desperation of the Peoples Democratic Party to stir unnecessary controversy in the South West of Nigeria.

President of ISD, Sunday James Akinloye, urged Nigerians especially Yorubas to shun all fake news emanating from the PDP. “This is completely laughable. How can some people concoct a story that is entirely false, sending thousands of Nigerians into frenzy over nothing?

“This shows that the PDP is desperate and they will stop at nothing to lay their hands on Nigeria’s treasury but their plans will not work, in fact, it is dead on arrival.

Akinloye stressed that Nigerians must be wary of any story from PDP because they are the masters of fake news. “They claimed in 2015 that President Muhammadu Buhari was going to Islamize Nigeria once he is voted in but we found that that is a lie.

“They claimed he was Jubril from Sudan and they even claimed that he could not stand or campaign for himself but the man has proven them wrong over and over again.

“The PDP is a destructive party and nothing good can come out of them. The foundation of PDP is faulty and the only thing they know is propaganda and lies even to the detriment of the lives of many Nigerians.

Akinloye urged Nigerians to ensure that the PDP is permanently shut out from Nigeria’s treasury for the progress and good of the country.

“They have said it, they want to enrich themselves and their friends, and they do not care about the common man on the street.

“They say they want to come and share the money, we must not allow that to happen. We must be steadfast in the slow and steady path we have embarked upon.

Quoting the Bible, Akinloye said Nigerians must understand that what we sow, is what we will reap. “If we sow Atiku and his corruption, then we will reap hardship from this evil seed. We must be careful what we wish for.

He urged Nigerians to disregard the UK, US and EU, stressing that they are only after their selfish interests. “Before President Buhari came on board all our looted monies were stashed in banks in the UK, US and EU.

“Since President Buhari was elected not only have we stopped laundering our monies to these countries, we are demanding that they return the money with them.

“They are not happy that Nigeria is on the path to prosperity, they want us to perpetually be under them asking for grants and loans.

He urged all Nigerians to vote overwhelming for the APC because that is the only party that can assure us of progress. “Our forefathers say that a good name is better than silver and gold. We must always remember this, always,” he said.

To every rumours, there are elements of truth. Maybe they are trying to force him to resign so they can put a Muslim man to continue their Islamization agenda.

The issue you asked is the reason we are where we are in Nigeria today.
The south compete with themselves shoulder to shoulder. In politics, it became a disadvantage capitalized by the week north to rule over the strong in education and what not. if leaders are attribued to the development of a place, they are also attribued to the poor development, the north has led us our present state.
Here we are shouting APC PDP, they are like sango ota and meran, you dont even know when you cross.

It largely stemmed from the civil war or Biafra war of 1967 to 1970.

During First Republic that began just before independence, Dr Azikiwe (an Igbo) of NCNC party teamed up with Sir Tafawa Balewa and Sir Ahmadu Bello of NPC to form the federal govt. Balewa became Prime Minister and Zik became Governor General (later President in 1963). AHMADU Bello remained Premier of the Northern Region.

Even though Ahmadu Bello hated Igbo (see YouTube for his anti-Igbo views in a BBC interview) , Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Zik could not work together to form a minority Federal govt. Hinting that there was mutual suspicion between Zik and Awo, and their followers.

In January 1966, a group of mostly Midwest/Bendel Igbo soldiers led by Kaduna Nzeogeu staged a coup that led to killing of Bello, Balewa, Akintola (premier of Western Region), Okotie-Eboh and some other non-igbo top politicians of that time.

Long before the coup, Northerners of fed govt had framed up Awo of coup plotting and sentenced him for treason in a Calabar jail. After the failed coup of Nzeogwu, the next most senior soldier was General Ironsi. Surviving members of FEC had to give him power to handle the crisis in the land. So came the first military govt.

But Northerners now felt Igbo planned the coup together all along. They began genocide of Igbo and minorities in the North. Igbo had long established in the North that even Zik was born in Niger State back in 1903 or 1904. Ojukwu was born in same Zungeru in Niger state in 1930s.

Within 6 months of Ironsi taking power, Northern soldiers killed him alongside Fajuyi. With killings of Igbo in the North continuing unchecked, Ojukwu felt Igbo safety could not be guaranteed within Nigeria. He declared Biafra Republic after peace talks in Aburi (Ghana), failed.

Biafra released Awo from Calabar prison. Igbo felt at this point that Yoruba wouid be sympathetic enough to their cause. To perhaps be neutral like Midwest (until Biafra invaded Midwest) or even declare Oodua Republic. Considering Awo's frame up and how the North used Akintola against Awo, splitting Awo's party Action Group.

But instead Awo joined the new Head of State Gowon in FEC as vice chairman and Federal commissioner (minister) of Finance. Igbo people were made to understand that Awo proposed blocking food supply to starving civilians in Biafra that led to massive deaths and end of the war.

At the end of the war, Awo is said to have given Igbo people only £10 no matter how big the money and assets they had in other parts of Nigeria before the war. This has led to Igbo seeing Yoruba as traitors. Even two generations down the line.

You often hear Igbo call Yoruba people Afonja, to remember the Oyo soldier who betrayed Oyo empire to Fulani Jihadist Alimi that led to loss of Kwara/Illorin to Sokoto Caliphate.

God will punish you if you think Buhari is not Islamizing Nigeria . Do you know what is happening In Kaduna, Middle Belt? They are killing villagers and taking over their land, and because of politics or because you are a Yoruba man far from where it is happening,it will soon meet you. Don't you read Buhari and his cabal plans and words they spread? What took president Buhari to Turkey ? it's because of the agenda. God is more than any human being, when the wrath of God hit APC,you saw what is happen and secrets coming out. they will soon start to die one by one. Oshomole was stoned. God will disgrace them all including you. Islam is they ways arab people worship God,while Christianity is the way Christians worship God. which God tell you to kill. God does things in his way, wasn't God that destroy sodum and Gomora? The greatist sin on earth is to kill human being. what you can't creat that was made of God and you kill. you'll see their end.

You also need to understand their personality traits:

When I see people supporting Atiku, I see thieves, liars, bigots or intellectual inept ignorant folks.

Thank God for Buhari coming in to stabilize us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari. Note that there's a global fall in the price of crude oil (our main source of foreign earning) from $110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry $50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to give us many project such Railways, Baro port, Revival of fertilizer mills etc as well as keeping us afloat through the recession while surprising Iweala and Soludo who all predicted recession in the coming years regardless who wins between Jonathan and Buhari in 2015 because the looting Jonathan failed to save despite the much revenue accrued from the Oil boom we had under Jona.

PDP, Neva again.

If I were Tinubu with what really befell PYO at the meeting yesterday is a signal to him that if bubu win, he (Tinubu will be sidelined). I'll advise Tinubu to make a pact with Atiku by making PDP getting their mandate at the centre and APC retaining Lagos. This single feat can save Tinubu's face in politics cos with the way I'm looking at things, bubu is extremely desperate and has strong thirst for power. Wrangling power from him will not require a child play, he will prefer to hand over to military than to handover to PDP.
