Let's assume Buhari did well in 4 years, but the SE just decided to vote Atiku because their own was picked as VP.

Then the SS, decided to vote Atiku to punish Buhari for defeating goodluck jonathan their own.

Now even the SW with the VP, voted massively against buhari , even with the promise of presidency.

Now this is where the real Nigerians are found. The Nigerians that are more educated, exposed and travel abroad a lot. While to the Yorubas might choose UK as their preferred travel destination to study and work, majority of Igbos head to China and Asia for business. The SS will prefer Europe as well. As a result of this exposure, have seen what developed countries look like and can agree on what development means to them. This was reflected in the votes. Even with all the bullion vans, majority voted based on their present circumstances and their desire to see a better Nigeria.

The Northern party leaders Accuse the SW of betrayal considering the amount of money made available and the promise of possible presidency.

However, the should know that the South is not the North. Education and exposure plays a large role in this part of the country.

Education and exposure informs the decision making in this part and you will need much more than money in.bullion vans and promise of presidency to win this part.

The youths may be unemployed in the south but they are not unemployable. They have finished from the university, some have gone ahead to do masters and waiting for an opportunity to put their knowledge into practice to earn a living for themselves.

Yes, you set up a scheme to pay people who have graduated from the university in IT, medicine, Engineering to be teaching religious knowledge in.villages and earn 30k monthly. While some lazy ones saw that as the final destination, majority saw it as a distraction and voted for an alternative to the present government.

The south is not where someone in a religious gathering will tell the people who to vote and they will with our considering their present circumstances. Or will someone in an IDP camp as a result of government s failure at security be told to vote the same government and they will agree.

The best you can do to suppress voters in the south is to mobilize thugs to the polling unit ,send malfunctioning card readers or cancellation votes. All things being equal majority will vote against a failed administration any day.

Now looking at the votes from SW, subtract those paid to vote Buhari, Subtract those that voted to retain Osibanjo, Subtract those that voted to produce president in 2023. Then see what is left for Buhari. It's clear that Buhari lost in the southwest as well. So he lost in the entire south.

Whatever happens in the North is influenced by lack of education and exposure, religious fanaticism, lack of expectation from life, idleness .

Putting all these together, buhari lost the elections, but was declared winner.

These are the people that decide your fate in this country. They don't watch TV or read news online. They don't know about the 20 million job losses, unemployment rate, inflation, amnesty international or transparency international.

They were never employed, ASUU strike is not their business. Stock market, economy etc is not their business.

Nigeria is not just your region. Its everywhere from north to south. Just like your people should have a say, all others too should have a say. That's just the way it is. You can choose to keep on blaming the British or move on.

When those with little or no education, exposure and information outnumbered those that do . The educated and enlightened ones will always be slaves to their uninformed decisions. They have been suffering from the beginning so they have no yardstick to measure improvement.

They will ban alcohol break the bottles and share the tax from the company. You want improved education, well western Education is a sin.

Guy, Atiku is not the solution to Nigeria's problem. This man looted the country when he could have helped improve it. I dont pity him and you should stop crying over him.
As for your philosophy, I buy it in a way. I have never really been a fan of democracy. The right views should matter not popular views. If Sodom and Gomorrah had a democracy, being straight would have been illegal.

Why hasn't buhari who is the solution arrested him? The idea is to boot failure out, even if it means bringing in another failure but not the same.

This is what I am talking about. Voting the oppressor due to lack of Education.

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Zamfara State, Alhaji Sani Shinkafi, on Wednesday confirmed that he has ejected all displaced persons taking shelter in his houses in Shinkafi for voting for the All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.

I beg to disagree , if these people are that effective like you claim then Buhari wouldn't have needed to use Industrial Thumb printing as a means of winning the elections illegally .. Let's face it in reality Atiku won this election hands down but he was rigged out by INEC in cahoots with the Federal Govt using a combination of industrial thumb printing, vote cancellations, calculated disenfenachisement of millions of Atiku supporters and brazen result alteration.

Did INEC release the number of voters that used card readers. I guess you have not seen the video where one man was doing all the thumb printing in the presence of the police.

Buhari/APC/INEC played the Nigerian People the biggest scam of the decade. The Illiterate population in the poverty ridden north played a minor role when compared to those collaborations I mentioned above. It may seem they've won but i know karma is always a faithful bitch and will visit at the right time and everyone involved in this sham will have their fair share of fate.

Whether you like it or not, whether you accept it or not, you are closer to freedom as a southerner with Atiku than with buhari. The christians in the north are closer to freedom with Atiku than with buhari.
Imagine what happened in Abuja:touts/almagiris asking people to chant sai babar and smashing windshields if you refused. Has this ever happened before?
Yesterday, were also at my area. They disturbed us with music and shout for some minutes and then left. We all stayed indoors.

This isn't time to make mockery but for serious discussion and introspection.
There is no law for presidential rotation in Nigeria so anyone can be president. Check all the southern presidents since 1999,they came into power by the permission of the north.
