I can use him as my next of kin even when we r not married.What do i hv that he doesnt have much more than i do.So making him my next of kin as a fiance is like adding more to/boosting his ego.   |

Yes, why not? Once you and that person get married, they become you immediate family and the family you grew up with becomes your extended family so I see nothing wrong it. |

unless these persons are married, i would rather they use their parents as their next of kin. after marriage then, obviously, the spouse will become the next of kin. any adult who makes his child his next of kin when they still have sane partner, should seriously look at the state of their union and consider divorce. btw: if a child becomes a next of kin and his father dies, doesnt the wifey indirectly get all the spouse's estate anyway? |
