The Nation is a credible source and the names of all elected members were also listed. Hopefully, the APC members will stay loyal to the party and not compromise. APC can use the control of the state assembly to put the governor on his toes and maybe, take back the state.

Any moronic governor with control over state resources can actually influence two or more opposition members to move to his party. It is not a product of political smartness but a consequence of the kind of people we are in Nigeria. You don’t understand what control is. The party with a simple majority produces the presiding officers that runs the assembly. In the current US senate, the republicans who control the house have a simple majority of members; 47-53 I think.

Again, over 80% of parliamentary decisions are reached through simple majority of members present at a sitting and not 2/3 of total house members. 2/3 are only required in rare cases of impeachment and constitutional amendments. So guy, get yourself properly educated before throwing the dumb word around.
