Alhaji Hassan Adisa Babatunde Fashinro was a passionate and devoted son of the soil. At 99, Alhaji HAB has he was popularly know, had seen it all – being one of the founding fathers of Lagos.

As the first Clerk of Lagos City Council and later Senator in the 2nd Republic, he lived his life serving the people of the state. He helped to build the Lagos that we see today.

Alhaji Fashinro, a seasoned politician and administrator will be missed.

I would like to pass my condolences to the family and friends of the late sage. No doubt, Lagosian and the whole country Nigeria, will ever be proud to have had a leader like him at the helm of its affairs.
