Some people are busy insulting INEC calling INEC all sort of names, if the supplementary is not conducted in the affected area and later on the AAC candidate decides to sue INEC and eventually the election is nullified is still same people that will still be shouting INEC is this and that.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has revealed that supplementary election will conducted in Rivers State on 13th of April, 2019.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Thursday, INEC revealed that the supplementary election will be conducted in the following constituencies, Gokana, Opobo /Nkoro, Ahoada West, and Abua/Odual.

The commission also commended security agencies for making sure that the election was peaceful in the state.

Igbere TV had reported that Wike who ran under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), polled 886,264 votes to win the polls

At the end of the final collation of the governorship election results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Wike polled 886,264 votes ahead of Biokpomabo Awara, candidate of the African Alliance Congress (AAC), who garnered 173,859 votes.
