When God spoke to Abraham and said to him to count the stars, for that is how numerous his descendants will be, Abraham may not have fully understood what God said, he believed nonetheless and it was counted to him as righteousness.

Fast-forward to the time of Moses. While Moses spoke to the people of Israel in _Deut 1:10-11_


Deuteronomy 1:10 The LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude. 1:11 (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)

Moses noted that God has made Israel as numerous as the stars of the heaven (they were about 3million Jew's that left Egypt - a massive population for any country at that time. People were few on earth. Only major civilizations at the time could boast of population close to that.) So according to Moses God had fulfilled the promise to Abraham even while Israel had not settled into any land.


Then he prayed that God would make Israel a thousand times more numerous.
Moses understood that when God makes a promise, he has a hidden plan to exceed what he promised.

Don't forget Jesus said "I am Come that they might have life..." (that is why he came; then adds ...that they might have it abundantly" (exceeding the promise).

Jesus said that whatsoever we ask the Father in his name will be done, _John 15:7;_ yet the Holy Spirit adds through Paul that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask... _Eph 3:20_ (exceeding the promise). Many more examples abound.


I pray for you: GOD ALMIGHTY has exceeded your expectations for today; GOD ALMIGHTY has exceeded the words of prophecies over your life.

GOD Almighty has given you more than you expect from your venture. Today is exceeded expectations.
