I guess it's both. Though the fear might not be the same for both.

I mean everyone is responsible for something or someone and I'm not excluded. I have responsibilities I accept and handle perfectly well, but being responsible for someone in a committed relationship? I find it too much to bear and I'm not ashamed and it doesn't make me feel 'less of a man'.Whatever that means.

I guess I have my answer. And no I'm not trying to psychoanalyse you, just trying to understand you - more like profiling - because sometimes people don't really understand other people's viewpoint or mantras. My mention was an attempt to grasp yours.
