Leadership and corruption pls. Nigeria is sooo corrupt it is almost unbelievable. I know what I’m saying.

Dubai made it to where they are because they had good leadership and reduced/eliminated corruption. Having good leadership and grand corruption is like cutting a tree with a blunt axe. Development will take centuries.
leadership is the only problem;you can never eliminate corruption.let salaries of policemen be worthwhile and regular, and it would stop collection of twenty and fifty naira bribes.they dont like to do it;they are humans like you;they have pride too! its easy to be good when life is good.

A leader leads by example. He does not just issue orders. He teaches others how to do things by first doing them himself. A good leader creates leaders, not followers. He takes good care of those whom he is leading. He delegates responsibility

it is a big lie my fellow citizen!
Nigeria's main problem is SENTIMENT.
...ETHNIC SENTIMENT( SEE GOVT MINISTERS
...RELIGIOUS SENTIMENT SAME AS SBOVE
...PADDY PADY SENTIMENT (MINOR)
...POLITICAL AFFILIATION SENTIMENT(MINOR)
...the day we remove the major sentiments 1 and 2 and rule nigeria like Lagos based on performance,no body will care whether na ibo man or hausa woman be president...or govrnor. People in power should ,base their devisions on genuine performers, patriots and stop using major sentiments factor while working for common good of d nation grin

This is the dumbest thing I've heard from this Speaker.

You are the No.4 man in the leadership of this country. Bills and acts that can bring profitable change to the lives of the citizens of this country starts on your desk. You are voted as the leader of your constituency to represent their interest.

Yet you have mouth to say our problem is bad leaders. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror to know that you are one of the so called bad leaders.

Because you are about to be dethroned as Speaker you are trying to play the common man's best friend card on us. Forgerrit We nor mumu reach like that.

The Government in Nigeria is the innocent mirror of the nation. The quality of government and its leaders, is simply a reflection of the collective consciousness of all the people in Nigeria. In some instances, leaders who came to power as the champions of anti-corruption have themselves been charged with being involved with levels of corruption even more serious than those of their predecessors. If the collective consciousness in Nigeria is disintegrated and negative, and people are not behaving in accord with Natural Law, then problems and corruption will be an unavoidable phenomenon of government. If, on the other hand, the collective consciousness in Nigeria is positive, integrated, and coherent, then the government will not be influenced by any negativity. If the people in Nigeria wish to be protected from corruption in government, then they must create an integrated collective consciousness. Positivity and harmony should be so strong and dense in national consciousness that negative influences cannot penetrate it

Proudlyngwa:
Hypocrisy 101.

If he had said corruption is not our only problem, I would have understood, but as it stands corruption has become enshrined in our DNA, that we don't seem to know what is wrong anymore, children doing expo is it a leadership problem, parents sorting for their kids is it a leadership problem, pump attendant adjusting meter is it a leadership problem, we have a host of problems, but corruption is at the forefront.

Our Parents , Society Style of education and religious sector have all failed and will continue to fail, until we tell ourselves the truth, " we are failures" accept that we are doing a lot of things wrong , only then can we chart a new path.
Of a true Nigeria problems are too numerous to mentioned but first four topmost problems are 1. Leadership 2. Corruption 3. Religious sentiment 4. Tribalism and so on
Really, if our leaders take our care first, you will see there will be love, unity, progress, crimes will automatically reduced among others. Leadership is our number one greatest disease.

For a leader to complain about “his” leadership is a problem. It’s sad we have reached this low. Economic disadvantages have caused Nigerians to beg for their entitlements. Followers are just as guilty as leaders.

We get what we deserve at best.
