Yoruba are the most educated in Nigeria, this is a fact NO one can change. The reason why you are doubting is because most Igbos celebrate their own too much online which gives a false positive scenario.

Let me take you down the memory lane why the Yorubas will always lead in the game of education and exposure in Nigeria

As far back as 1954, Awolowo had a target and he predicted the future well, he took a major step to make sure we have free education in the western region. He spent almost 30-42% of the recurrent budget on education. This spending takes a lot of gamble because it got to some point that his comrades started questioning him for spending the Farmers proceeds on education. He also made sure a lot of girls are enrolled in schools because most parents then are reluctant to send girls to school.

He was able to enrol almost 1,131,000 student in primary school as far back as 1961, when other region are still focusing on just agriculture with little incentive for mass education.

Even your kinsmen also benefited from the western region benevolence because he made sure he catered for everyone regardless of tribes.

The current Corp of governors in the Southwest are a great disgrace to the labor of our heroes past, they are part of the people that slowed down the growth coz if not that you guys should not have the mind to even compare the Yorubas with any other tribe in terms of education penetration.
