Mia Khalifa, a former pornographic actress, social media personality, sports commentator and webcam model has clap back at her trolls who are mocking her after she disclosed she only made $12,000 in her entire career as a porn actress.

The former porn actress in a lengthy tell-all interview with her friend Megan Abbott, revealed she only made $12,000 in the industry despite the worldwide notoriety that earned her death threats and bans from countries, FoxMeek reports.

Khalifa who started and ended her career as a porn actress from 2014 to 2015 respectively, complain that that people think she's racking in millions from porn. Adding that her troubles finding a “normal job” afterwards were “scary.”

Despite the death threats from Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) who she claims hacked her Instagram account at one point – and the notoriety that sees her continuing to be “ranked” as a top performer, Khalifa says she does not regret her brief sojourn in the industry.

Adding that although it took her years to deal with the psychological hangover of being so abruptly shoved into the limelight.

“Once the high of fame wore off, the shame set in, and never really left,” she said.

Her fans who obviously didn’t buy the tale of hardship, and many outright accused her of lying or pointed out that any subsequent “career” she had was built on her fame as a porn star.

Some accused her of being hypocritical for dishing on how much porn “ruined” her life while continuing to go by her stage name.

The former porn star in her reaction to the backlash said; “They’re sleeping on mattresses without a bed frame, while I’m currently tweeting this from airplane Wifi on a first class flight overseas that cost more than I made my entire brief time in porn, sitting next to a man who loves me unconditionally � ...life turns on you quick.”

Earlier this year, the former porn star-cum-sports broadcaster, Mia Khalifa got engaged to Robert Sandberg, a popular Swedish chef, after a year of dating.
