As we all know some nigeria artist like Adekunle Gold, Timi Dakolo and many others said they started their music carrier in church but now they sing regular songs.

Very few churches help their talents to grow. I love Christ's Embassy for that. Other churches just want their talents to come and serve in church forgetting that these guys have to pay their bills somehow. Eventually, they will get noticed outside and made an offer they cannot refuse, then everyone starts to cry foul... undecided

That's true but some churches do not help them grow their talents because they think they are working for God and their reward is in heaven.

If Everyone sings gospel songs?

Who will sing romantic song?
Do you listen to frank Edward on a date?

And people should stop attributing non gospel songs to the devil its ignorance

Aside that singing gospel alone. If no better backup you go find another job soon

If no be Christ embassy and house on the rock help boost many gospel artisites profile

With all the daddy Go country is still a massive shlthole

While he has a point. Not all circular or contemporary music is ungodly. There is a life outside the church.

There are spiritual songs and love songs, Revolution songs and others. These are aspects of life.

Every artiste is singing for the Lord in their own way.

They are soothing souls with their music and that is why God gave them talent, it is not so that all of them will be gospel artistes.

How many of them will he invite for a performance? He should face his church business and allow them face their music business

Church should make efforts in developing talents too.. Talents is suppose to make way for people.. We have bills to pay too.. Christ embassy promotes their talents... Other church should follow.. Give them reasons and benefits in serving the Lord

Exactly! Man must chop. As a choir member you are regarded as a worker and your reward is in heaven while the pastor gets his reward here on earth with the cars and PJ. undecided

Good but what about those pastors that started genuinely and answered call by God to worship but when they have grown to certain levels of spirituality, they turn themselves to god of men and untouchable with full lust of the eyes and scammer of genuine and faithful worshippers. When will they return to God and come to true repentance ? And also do restitutions?

It is not possible sir. You cannot call a fish to come and live above water.
90% of these people Baba Mike Bamiloye is talking about are not really Christians. They were just church goers.
No Born-again christian will posses a gift and begin to use it for the world. The truth is they need to become truly born again first.

The remaining 10% who may have been born again became tempted by fame and money that worldly music gives.
