Lasu is undergoing structural upgrades as well, at least about 5 buildings are ongoing and will be commissioned soon

for those saying the school will soon spoil stop saying what you don't know, the school is still as fresh as ever, and the field that's not that good again is under renovation, and the hostels still haven't changed because the school has a facility managers, so what ever is damaged in the rooms, kitchens, bathrooms or anywhere are being replaced with a new one within 24-48hours. All thanks to the former and present Lagos State government.
And to let you know. A complete renovation occurred in the school last year.

so Lasucom is not in the league of any public school when it comes to luxury and maintenance in Nigeria

The problem of Nigeria is not facilities, it is mentality and lack of commonsense among citizens.
You can put a space station, Allianz stadium or Grand Central in Nigeria but the citizens will destroy it!

firstly, am also a proud alumni of LASUCOM. This school has been voted the best state owned medical school in nigeria in the past so i am not really surprised about anything here.

secondly, most of the kudos should go to Tinubu who revamped ikeja gen hospital and turned it into a teaching hospital.He even used to visit Lasucom regularly then. (played football with the stidents once).
Fashola met the projects nearing completion. those buildings were completed in late 2008.

AND YES, THE FACILITIES ARE STILL TOPNOTCH TODAY. I AV TWO BROTHERS THERE SO I VISIT REGULARLY.
