The road is really bad. My body still aches from my short trip to the state. I had to alight at chanchaga to board a bike to my house because of total traffic gridlock.

Fashola has failed miserably as far as roads in this country are concerned.
I’m totally disappointed in him despite the high reputation and expectations we all had of him.
Almost all he federal roads in the country are in comatose.
He should be redeployed or sacked.

Niger state has over 2,800km of federal roads, for which 90% had been in bad state.According to the Governor, billions of naira was spent rehabilitating Minna-Suleja road, but the heavy trucks will not allow the road to last because of freight overload.

But no one complains when government has to spend almost its entire revenue on recurrent expenditure at all levels which means these days giving the civil servants whose responsibility it is to maintain those roads a raise while the roads themselves are in shambles.... individuals getting of better at the expense of society. That is the Nigeria tragedy.

The youths of Niger State under the umbrella of Youth Council of Nigeria staged a protest about the deplorable state of all the roads entering the state.

They blocked all the major roads entering the state capital since about 7am today.

According to their outcry, people are dying everyday on these roads and the government, both Federal and State are not doing anything about it.

Well done boys.
Time to speak up.
Every year they take our oil money to build roads in Abuja, now we must demand for what belongs to us.
We will demand for Niger Delta Republic very soon.
