Falling under demonic influence scriptural? Yes!

Luke 9:41-42 -

Jesus answered. . .Bring your son here [to Me]. . .and even while he was coming, the demon threw him down and [completely] convulsed him. . .But Jesus severely rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the child and restored him to his father.


Falling under the Anointing scriptural? No!

'Laying of Hands' does not transfer anointing, oil (symbolic) does. And Anointing oil is symbolic of spiritual consecration [to set someone/something apart for God]. Saul when anointed did not fall but rather turned into another man. . .David had no record of falling but was consecrated King.

Jesus never told the church to use oil. The anointing is recommended to be transferred by laying on of hands in the church.

 Acts 6:6
6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid[b][ their] hands[/b] on them. 

1 Timothy 4:14
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

It's not a must to fall by the anointing. But when the power of God comes upon a man. Sometimes the legs give way.

1 Samuel 19:24

1 Kings 8:11

6 When Jesus said to them, I am He, they went backwards( drew back, lurched backward) and fell to the ground.

For whatever the reason, it is the spirit of God that cause such falling. We should not seek falling but rather the blessing of the spirit.
