Kitchen cabinet and cabal are not the same. OBJ had a kitchen cabinet in his 1st term consisting of TY Danjuma, Anenih and Yayale Ahmed. They all had offices and responsibilities in the govt and were not shadows or forces behind the finger.
JFK during whose tenure the term was first coined had members of the administration as kitchen cabinet including his brother who served as his political adviser. Even Trump gave his daughter and son-in-law roles as members of this kitchen cabinet
It is disingenuous to now compare that with a situation where people are giving orders to members of a govt while not holding any official roles.
