Im guessing it is because couples just take for granted that their spouse is always there and they dont really appreciate them as they did in the beginning. It goes both ways. You just get used to a pattern and follow it. It doesnt make it right, just what you are so used to.

its because most of these people dont kiss for the RIGHT reasons.
majority of the time, they only do because they want to get ¨busy¨ while it should rather be because you want to feel your partner´s lips all over yours, to connect with them in a passionate way, to have their juices all inside (and over) yours. a kiss is the easiest form of showing affection.

as Emmatok said, many do take for granted that now that they caught the ¨big fish¨they dont need to work any longer to please them. when the routine of married life sets in, then its down to no more flirting, no more dates, no more kinky outfits, no more fun and even sometimes no more se.x. . . . . . . . .  most dont even think THEY SHOULD kiss, thats how crazy it is!!!

not at all, its a 50/50 problem. the catch is that most women in that case would easily accept the situation rather than seek for alternative source of pleasure while men would easily cheat.
