This is long time coming, it's was just a matter of time. USA don't get the amount of money they usually get from us, so it's time to roll the dice. Nigeria is the largest country in Africa. USA has always wanted to have a military base here but our government always refuses even when they offer their help against Bokoharam during the tail end of Jonathan administration our govt still refuses claiming we can handle the problem. They then deny us weapons we wanted to buy from them to combat Bokoharam, from then we started buying our weapons including fighter jets from Russia. The restrictions they have placed on us is actually a blessing in disguise. USA govt are the kinds that will set your house on fire an then sell u water to quench the fire. Nigeria is a great country..it's just a pity that politician are bleeping the country sideways. 1 Like

Gabbriell: Then let start seeking for immigration visas to Russia and China now ,since in your own wisdom "he who pays the piper should not dictate the tune". In international politics there is always give and take , and to be factual with you the worst deal with the America is better than the best deals with both Russia and China . The problem with our leaders is they have hidden agenda, and are not sincere with the way and manner they run the government, this explains why the sudden romance with the Russia and Chinese, who doesn't care about human right or rule of law but about clout and money . If we sell you weapons use it for the purpose and not other purpose. |

kiyosaki1: No one is saying it's easy to get immigration visa to Russia or china. True maybe there something our leaders are hiding. Do you think USA don't have hidden agenda as well?. Politics is crooked game both here in Nigeria and abroad. But what the young man you quoted is talking about is that America cannot dictates what Nigeria does or who we trade with and we have the right to either accept or reject their offers. That's his point not Russia - China immigration visa |

Gabbriell: Alright then, if we decide to deal with the chinese and Russians ,then we shouldn't raise an eyebrow with the Americans denying us their immigrant's visa. As good as the deal with the duo looks , there are still certain things we are to let go. So it's a question of the less of two evils which is still America. Apart from the language barrier the racist level in China and Russia is not of this world. |

Angelfrost: Is it now clear to everyone why he bashed us as S hole countries? Is like someone is saying please don’t call me a slave but the person can’t stop behaving like a slave The average NIgerian who can afford to buy a plate of jollof rice looks around and mocks everyone else that can not afford a plate of rice. Are these the same Nigerians that we are expecting to ask for good governance? When people secretly wish the downfall of their fellow citizens ... why will they wish for the country to succeed? Nigerians deserve Buhari, FULLSTOP! |

Mccullum: You lack deep experience in international politics. Politics in advance country is far above personality like being played in nigeria . Policies in advance democratic countries is not being played as with pdp and apc , please read extensively about politics in countries that practicies democracy, before coming to display your ignorance on public space. |

But Nigeria has not shamelessly addressed the issues that led to border closure that is causing, loss of revenue, inflation and suffering to low and middle income Nigerian for over 6 months. We all know immigrant visa restrictions only affects upper and higher middle class. May God help us. 1 Like |

Gabbriell: Are you being completely ignorant, sentimental or you're just a blockhead? Go to hell with your conspiracy theories. I don't know why you guys derive joy in avoiding the truth It's written everywhere that the ban was because Nigeria, headed by your fellow Jihadist, doesn't share sensitive security information that borders on immigration and terrorism, and which terrorists can utilise to cause harm to the USA. Your country with millions of radical and potentially radical sunni and Shia muslims, is now a terrorist country, and a security risk to other peace-loving countries. Instead of blaming your clueless leaders, you're here talking rubbish! Being the largest country in Africa has also now made you the highest exporter of terrorism. And that should represent a big concern to you. |
