You must not quote me, I said my opinion on what I feel about this and your opinion doesn't count or take away the fact that Sanusi tarnished Jonathan image and should enjoy the change he voted and supported

Most people commenting do not know the extent of the power Govs have over the traditional rulers.

The present Olubadan was extremely careful with Ajimobi otherwise that guy could have removed him and nothing will happen.

Leave the children of Oba OF Benin on this forum to continue deluding themselves.

With the relationship between Igbinedion and the Late Oba, if nonsense had happened Lucky could have been triggered to do the un-expected.

This barbaric acts perpetrated against Sanusi show that the north is backward in everything. Banishment is a pre colonial mode of punishment.

Why is Sanusi being molested this way! Something is wrong, and Ganduje is just an instrument to finish that thing that's wrong.

He has always not been celebrated to the last. He is always sent away!

This could be a curse.

Sanusi's Dethronement: The Curse Of The Agaba Idu Must Be Cleansed

"In April 1963, Emir Mohammed Sanusi I of Kano was dethroned. In 1950s, He had plotted the dethronement of the then Atta of Igala Ameh Oboni (Agaba Idu). The Atta’s offense was his refusal to bow before the Sultan of Sokoto, Chairman of Northern Nigeria Council of Chiefs during the Council’s meeting in Kaduna, capital of Northern Nigeria. Ameh Oboni was given the option to remove his crown and bow or be removed from office. But the Atta was a god and could not bow to any human being.

"Ameh Oboni knew that by the Igala tradition, the implication of his dethronement was that none of his descendants would ever be allowed to be crowned Atta after him. So he accepted to remove his crown and bow.

"But the moment he removed his crown, a swam of bees rushed out of his head and chased the chiefs out of their chamber. That ended the plot for that day.

"Oboni then walked up to Emir Sanusi and told him that, for attempting to remove him from office, he Sanusi would lose his throne and that any of his descendants that ever ascended the throne would be dethroned.

"So In April 1963, as Mohammed Sanusi was chauffeured from Kaduna to his palace in Kano after a council meeting, he heard on the car radio of his own dethronement by the Government of Northern Nigeria.

"Today about 57 years after, Emir Mohammed Sanusi’s grand son Emir Lamido Sanusi II has been dethroned.

He was sacked (Suspended) by GEJ and some myopic elements were fuming, and Fulani gangsters installed him as Emir to avoid his arrest.
Now, it's not just an arrest, but exiled...what a world

SoNature:

Why I like Sanusi is that he is a man that never keeps quiet when things go wrong.

Just the way he couldn't stand the wasteful Jonathan, Sanusi criticized Gandollar and never supported his reelection bid because he had genuine information that the Kano governor is corrupt.

As the CBN governor, he even attacked the national assembly for wasting a significant portion of Nigeria's revenues.

You don't expect honest people to have too many friends in a country full of hypocrites and fantastically corrupt politicians.

If we had many people like that, we would have a great country.
Sanusi is just being a typical cunny northern elite and a hypocrite.
Was he not the one who was accused of using CBN money to charter flights to Lagos to go and sleep with his married female employee Mrs Maryam Yaro?
Same accusation of financial abuse followed him to Kano.

This serves Sanusi right. Do you guys know how many families Sanusi actions led to them going back to their villages penniless after loosing their bank jobs when he sacked thier CEOs in 2009 as CBN Governor? Karma is a bit¢π.

please this nonsense can never happen in Yoruba land. Yorubas do not respect politicians but they greatly respect obas. I can't even imagine it. Which politician would dare that kind of political suicide? Not even OBJ as president. obas have a lot of influence over their people. It might not be apparent to you, but it's there.

Ajimobi could never ever conceive dethroning the olubadan. HOW? The worst he could do was what he tried & he ended up dragging his family & his party name in the mud for it. He cant win any election in oyo state again & cant influence a win for anybody. Even kids sing disparaging songs about him all over ibadan.

Everybody just dey do their own as they like in this country'. A very lawless nation. No due process, no court order, nothing nothing. The Government just woke up today and pronounced a number two emir in the north non and void. The northern monarchy has no spiritual affiliation unlike in the west, its just ethno religious monarchy. Can any government or president dethrone a king like alafin or ooni. These are gods the whites could not even conquered. Nonsense

Noted Sir.

Are you are an I badan person?

Do you reside in Ibadan?

The Deji of Akure that was dethroned does not have the backing of his people?

One again, your arguments are noted.
