When I heard the PM of U.K. Saying if you have Symptoms Isolate yourself in your Home

If you Parents have the Symptoms Isolate yourself in your Home

I knew that There is Worldwide Confusion..

Even the Doctors Worldwide are now saying Stay at Home!

Anyone Banking on anything Other than GOD ALMIGHTY is Joking.. Those who Trust in GOD Genuinely and Absolutely will sail true Stresslessly... The KING of Kings is Making us Understand that HE is the one that Runs this Earth. We need to Bow to HIM and Walk by HIS Rules...

Personal Hygiene, Washing your Hands and all that are Common Sense. It's what you do naturally.

The World is Confused!
Government are Confused!!
Medical personnel are Confused!!

Everyone is Just trying to Encourage themselves! In the Real sense , No one knows what to do!

the test kit is 300 pounds
that is 130,000 naira before the devaluation

we have one doctor to 3500 nigerians
we have 10000 nigerians to one hospital bed

unlike in the case of ebola - every major nation has it and are already tied up
the only thing for you is self medication

this is from a link - if i post the useless spambot may delete

Medications

There is not currently a cure for COVID-19 or a vaccine against coronavirus. The aim of treatment is to manage and reduce symptoms until you have recovered.

Most people - around 80% - have an asymptomatic or mild infection which can be treated at home. In this case, you should self-isolate for at least one week until you have recovered.

One in five people who contract COVID-19 will require hospital care. Around 15% of cases experience a severe infection requiring oxygen to help with respiratory symptoms. 5% experience critical infections, requiring ventilation. Those at a higher risk of severe or critical infections include older people and those with underlying health conditions.
Painkillers

To relieve pain and fever, you can use painkillers like paracetamol.

In a recent comment, France's health minister, Olivier Véran, said that non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) could aggravate the infection. These medications include aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen, among others.

Currently there is no conclusive evidence that NSAIDs will make a coronavirus infection worse but until there is more information available, you should stick to other painkillers to treat a fever or headache. Anti-inflammatory drugs dampen the immune system which may make it more difficult for the body to recover.

However, if you have been prescribed an NSAID to treat a health condition, you should continue to take it until you are told not to. On 17th March, the Chief Scientific Officer, Sir Patrick Vallance, pointed out that these claims "May or may not be right" but did recommend using paracetamol rather than ibuprofen.
Other symptoms

Some of the medications and treatments you might use to treat colds and flu will also help with coronavirus symptoms. Cough medicines or cough suppressants can help reduce your cough. Throat lozenges and remedies like honey and lemon may improve a sore throat.
Antibiotics

If you have antibiotics lying around at home, do not take them to treat coronavirus. As it is a virus, antibiotics will not improve coronavirus. You should never take antibiotics which haven't been prescribed for a certain condition.

Antibacterial handwashes (unless they're also labelled as antiviral), cleaning products and hand sanitisers also won't be effective in killing the virus on surfaces or your hands for the same reasons.

Today being 23 march 2020, I went to LUTH due to the appointment I have with the E.N.T doctor. When the time came for the Dr to see us the patients, she addressed us and asked everyone to go home due to the corona virus epidemic and how unprepared the hospital was to protect staff working there.

She reveald that LAGOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL does not have enough air ventiletor, that LUTH only has about 15 ventilators and the nature of ENT clinic demands close contact with patients for thorough examination and she won't risk her life even if she has ventilators.

She told us to either wait until the epidemic is over or go to NCDC and get tested for the virus assuring us that if an individual can get two negative result within 48hrs and bring the result for confirmation, then she will attend to the person.

I immediately took bike from LUTH gate to CDC office yaba, got there and explained everything to them, they directed me to MAINLAND HOSPITAL (IDH) around Yabatech.
Na so....

The doctor actually told you the truth, that's the procedure, you cant just come in and say you want to get tested without not being in contact with any confirmed patient, not showing any sign of symptoms or coming from countries that are affected,it's a procedure that must be followed otherwise everyone in Lagos will come in to say they want the same, you should blame the doctor at luth.

I'm not in support of this but you should know that it happens everywhere at the moment.
In the US, people are sent back or not attended to, even in Europe.
I don't know why you people can insult the nation for the same things you praise others for.

Why did you go for the test, are you coming from any of the high risk country or you had contact with any of the infected patients?
Covid 19 is not malaria that you will walk in into any hospital to perform a test

Why not? As a matter of fact people need to get tested because they may have the virus and not show any symptom.
Before they go about infecting others.

I feel your pain brother. But the truth is that E.N.T will attend to you in the private hospital she consults in. I once had to see an ENT when Dr were on strike I paid 10k before the man came. Just locate a good private specialist hospital.
As for the covid-19 issue it's very truth that because of the delay in testing the virus is spreading more . May God help us

We the masses are in trouble, imagine no test kit, let alone of ventilator

Nigeria is doomed. The current leadership have failed in all ramifications. The late boss of PPMC who died of COVID-19 did not see his result until his death. They took his samples more than a week ago, only to surface with the result when they heard he is dead. His medical attendants at Gwagwalada hospital need to be quarantined ASAP. God help us

If all the doctors in the public hospitals adopt this kind stance and approach, then it is over for the citizens. The virus will simply spread like harmattan fire, even she herself won't be safe anymore whether she attends to patients or not.
Then, what exactly was she doing at the hospital since she made up her mind not to attend to any patient?

I've been sitting here with one guy since 1hr plus now and there is no one that has attended to us and all the nurses were just going up and down.
What made me to sit this long was because of this ENT issue at LUTH if not for that, i wouldnt have waited this long just to get tested.
-i noticed that the staffs were being reluctant to carryout the test or maybe they dont have the test kit, and if the later is the issue then its a A BIG SHAME.

I cant wait any longer, i'll have to go and wait until (if) the pandemic is over.
My FELLOW NIGERIANS, MAY GOD HELP US IN THIS COVID-19 ISSUE.

Pls go and corroborate my story and if anyone have any idea on how to get tested and the procedures involved, let the person share with us.

my brothers we are finished in this country

it is only God who will deliver us

imagine if one is sick and need help

one have to get referral letter before getting treatment??
