Mistranslation.  undecided cry

Ola edo means GOLD. Jewel is not part of its literal meaning.

Ola means metal.

Edo means golden color (yellowish of sorts) in Igbo.  Ola ocha in Igbo means whitish metal -Silver.

Quote me on that.  cool

I believe Ola in Yoruba means wealth.
No link there.

Ola is not metal. It is simply jewel. So Ola nma literally means "Fine metal" instead of "beautiful jewel".Ola nti nko?Remember some earings are not metal.
