If this report is said to be true,then 2011 general election will be the most disputed election in the history of Nigeria.I doubt it if prof. Jega intellectualism will be able to match the thuggery of PDP agents.No wonder why the former president(Obasanjo)believe perfect election cld not be held in the country irrespective of who head the commission.I just pray that Prof Jega integrity will not be rubbished like Prof.Iwu.

Delta Rerun: Massive Turn-out but Minor Hitches

The rerun governorship election in Delta State is witnessing massive turn-out of voters all over the state, but there are reports of hitches in several places.

Accreditation started in most voting centres at 9am but the 12 noon cut-off was not feasible as a result of logistical problems.

The major hitch is the inability of voters to locate their names in the registers even though many of them claimed to have voted in the original election in 2007.

You displayed an attribute of sound practical judgment but am afraid this is not applicable in Nigeria. These so called thugs are ordinary people, natives, deltalites, possibly the once whose future are been ballot-ed, everyone in the locality knows them and can tell who hired them. So i think it is quite safe to say they are PDP thugs given the source.

Dis is a clear rubbing of the Deltans' of their right. wait oooo how can PDP won 37,139 votes in Delta Warri North as against 2700 for DPP. how many electorate are registered in dis area? what is the population of the people in dis area; both young n old?
