Fashola, as a Governor

The 1.38km connects Ikoyi-Alexander Street to Lekki-Admiralty Way. The innovative Lagos Traffic Radio has equally continued to help Lagosians in navigating their ways across the ever busy Lagos roads. Similarly, the novel Lagos flagship primary health centres initiative, which recently berth in some locations across the state with a 24 hours service, has given hope of access to quality health care delivery to many people in the state.

Fashola, as Minister of works and housing

Describing Fashola as a man of vision in his remarks, the Director Public Buildings and Housing Development, Mr. Dickson Onoja, said Fashola had taken the ministry through a roller coaster ride of activities in the last three and a half years listing his achievements to include the establishment of a National Building Code, National Public Building Management Policy and the provision of the National Housing Programme at a period when the nation was earning less revenue earning, among others.

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has been named one of the 100 Global Thinkers for 2013. The selection was by Lo Spazio della Politica (LSDP), an international think tank of scholars and scientists operating from Italy and Belgium and fashioned after the world famous Foreign Policy think tank of the United States.

Fashola is an excellent example of a few persons across the world who combine thought with praxis.

A global thinker that could not handle a ministry, is that one a thinker?
