@Mohandas,
Urhobo waado,
Thank you very much for your study. I always suspected there
is a familial relationship between urhobos and Edos. I didn't know exactly how.
I wish these types of truths, facts, and hypothesis were taught in schools. I am
a Bini, it really surprise me that all your written urhobo words and names, i understand
their meanings perfectly well in Edo. I love you all urhobos, God bless you. May the holy
spirit of our ancestors be with you.

Love this post as I have been able to learn some Urhobo from posters' comments! Let's keep it going! Does anyone know where I can buy authentic Urhobo musical instruments and an Urhobo textbook/dictionary to help with my studies? I am a musician and I think it is only normal to include aspects of my culture in the music I do but I would like to broaden my knowledge of Urhobo culture.

Although, I am not an Urhobo person, but I choose to associate with the Urhobo people. Thank God for NYSC, I was posted to the only Urhobo community in Bayelsa state called Ofoni. I will neva forget the place at all, I also learnt little Urhobo, pardon my spellings, minguo, frendo, digwe kevwe, oshare, ochina, omote, omotete, kidia, mudia and so on. One love!
