Idaosa is one of those miscreants who is pushing Obaseki to misbehave. Of course, I know that this election will come and go and APC candidate will still win.

Of course, the miscreants won't backpedal. Idaosa will continue pushing him until he becomes finishes all he ever still from the puplic pockets in the name of governance.

This people wont stop Puting obadeki in trouble, the more they talk like a loose guard and compare him with ambode the more they put in tight corner.
How can a former commissioner said ambode chicken out easily where a democracy took place? People where allow to vote for their choice. If ambode lost it is cos of he was not a grass root politicians not cos of tinubu cos the same thing happened to fashola and he succeeded.
No any god father can deny you of your reelection if you are truly good to your pls.

So shameful that this ex commissioner did not understand politics. Is it oshiomole and tinubu fault that he presented a questionable certificate? they only used his weak link against him and that is the real politics not by making empty media noise.

Those who are urging Obaseki to fight on are truly his enemies ! This is a battle he can never win and which is capable of ruining his personal and political life forever if care is not taken. Obaseki is up against some very brutal forces that are ready to crush him to make a very clear statement.

Ambode is never a coward, he is a smart and reasonable guy who understands that it's worthless fighting an already lost battle. I sincerely hope,for the sake of his mother,that Obaseki chooses Ambode's option to avoid a sure confrontation with the efcc. Those efcc guys will mess up his life beyond repairs if given the opportunity.

Those who are shouting "Edo is not Lagos" all around are only being funny ! What is the big deal about Edo state ?

Now you guys are back to that! That's what you guys have been saying for years now, even Philip claimed he had documentary that would be released, the world is still waiting for it. When Obaseki was asked on Channels TV the cause of the fight, was that what he said? You confused lots! It's a shame the Governor listened to the likes of you and look where it got him.

Obaseki had no issue with Oshiomhole that couldn't have been resolved quietly over a meal! But like a son that went to a generational family rival and adversary for advice, over a minor spat with his father, he was handed a generational fight with his own father. Alas; the saying is "he who gave you life can also take it away"! Well, Oshiomhole has taken away the political life he gave Obaseki, now let him go find another to give a political life!

But you'd know that anyone of substance, anyone that has the power to give "a political life" not empty barrels making the loudest noises, people with political relevance not those seeking to be relevant politically, those people would not be too eager to breathe political life into Obaseki's quickly dying political life based on his antecedents. But then again, you might be one of those political jobbers or their paid internet urchins, that brought him to this avoidable Waterloo.

I cannot imagine people commenting what they don't known about Edo politics.

After Obaseki was sworn in as the governor of the State, the first thing he did was restructuring APC party structure in the state. Yes he was very smart after he saw what happened to Ambode.

Those commenting nonsense about what they don't know. Those of you thinking Oshiomole is going to win this fight did you guys ever asked yourselves how Oshiomole's suspension from the state party was possible? It was the same APC party in the state restructured by Obaseki that suspended Oshiomole.

Oshiomole cannot win this fight because Obaseki was smarter. The only way Oshiomole could handle Obaseki is what he did to him already by disqualifying him because he knows if he is allowed to contest for the primaries Obaseki would beat him hands down.

Obaseki is taking all the APC party structures to PDP and you know what is going to happen? Yes! Massive defection of APC members to PDP and that is the end of APC in the state.

Oshiomole will cry and he won't see tears.

Rubbish, Tinubu floated AC when he disagreed with AD.
What does it take Obaseki to form his own party when he felt he can't work with Oshiomole and co?.
Oh he wants to hijack a party that others have suffered to build over the years.
Did he ever imagined that things could get this bad for him?.
Obaseki should just mend fence with the people he stepped on and move on.
Whoever wants to have a lion for a feast must be prepared to end up in his belly.
Party structure are people or are they okada?
Oya make e carry dem go, as at yesterday Edo SSG, Osarodion Ogie, Four Commissioners have made it clear to Governor Obaseki that they will not be leaving the APC with him and will turn in their resignation if he decamps.
Only God knows how many others are quietly laughing at Obaseki.
Long story short, na OYO be Obaseki case at the moment.

Shouldn't Obaseki ideally resign as the governor of Edo state. The fact is, there was no way he could have attended U.I with his school cert results. So how did he do it? Does it mean we've had corruption & decadence in our universities (and in a leading university like U.I for that matter) for so long?

Secondaly, When PDP brought up a case against Obaseki's credentials during the last election, how did he get away with it? Did the judiciary take a bribe from Obaseki or did Oshiomole get involved in compromising the judiciary to Obaseki's advantage at that time? Can we know the concerned bad eggs in the judiciary?

Same Obaseki recently tried to get Tinubu to save him, so why bring up the issue of Ambode/Tinubu again? Obviously, Obaseki is not smart and nobody will take him serious. Whereas Ambode has a slim chance of returning to elective politics, Obaseki is almost politically finished. He may even be tried and convicted for corruption, forgery of affidavit and many more.
