So give me the new testament way of tithing or offering or giving to the church or taking care of the church and pastors
Kobojunkie:

Take another look at the definition of God's tithing law.

Below is the tithing law as defined in the Old Covenant... This is the law.... all pieced together, and the word of God commanding you to obey His commandment. Tell us what aspect you have obeyed in your years as a tither

This is what God told you to do with the Tithe He commanded of you.

Remember what God said about His commandment and what blessings and curses come to those who obey OR disobey His commandments as Stipulated.

I read your bible extract and couldn’t reconcile how it supports tithing.

If your argument is about giving willfully, nobody will argue with you because Jesus and his disciples preached about giving unequivocally. The same thing cannot be said about tithe. Jesus never preached unequivocally about tithe and neither did any of his disciples. Even in the days of the law, tithe was not referred to as a weighty or serious matter. It was just a social security arrangement to support the vulnerable. Good enough, it had been abolished with the law.

So bro, stop trying to muddle things up. Compulsory tithing laced with curses that Oyedepo and other charlatans are preaching is not the same as free will giving.

Can you explain malachi 3: 8

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. 12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts. 13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? 14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

A question:

Should Christian believe the whole bible or not.

Remember Jesus said i have come to fulfill the law.

Kingdom of Heaven is not even spoken of in the Torah! lipsrsealed
The idea of heaven did not exist in the old testament days

In the prophetic books, it was stated clearly.. Although not the idea but the promise. Jesus said "did Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and other prophetic letters of the prophets not speak of me?"

The political, economic, religious, science and tech, education systems during the days of Abraham, Moses have all changed. The all-round revolution took place during Roman rule and our Lord met the systems. Reason, He stated that what we give to the central government is what we give to God. ECONOMIC AND MONETARY REVOLUTION!

TAX (VAT rate%) is to government, TITHE (10%) is to God.

Jesus said "LET YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN," i.e heavenly kingdom activities to manifest on earth, i.e the church of Christ or government of Christ. Isaiah said "His government shall be upon His shoulder."

Both worldly & divine governments uses money..

thank you sir that is the Truth of life but it is abnormal for poors or needy to be contributing their limited resources to the riches in the name of brainwashed of religion.even in the old ages of the past it is Quoted in the all religious books not only Christianity ; that the Riches should give their wealth to the needy not vice Verser of what is happening now. Even culture recommended riches to give needy not for poors to build wealth for riches in the name of Religion .

Let me take your interpretation literally....in capitalist society how do the rich gets rich and keeps getting richer?

The riche getting richer through their investments which poor can not afford to invest but they will definitely subscribe to it with the little they( the poor) have to leave their livelihood which will be an income for the rich to become richer but this is not applicable to pastors and Alfas bcs what they promise is not under their control .but due to the level of Religion's bigots, poverty and unenlightened in African made some people believe that Pastors and Alfas are in control of what they don't have.

Tithing is defined in the Old Covenant, along with all laws of offerings and the likes. And for anyone who is in Christ, bondage to the Old law is no longer. Those who hold on to old covenant commandments while thinking they can also inherit that which Jesus Christ came to give will be in for a rude awakening in the end.
Below passage is Jesus Christ explaining how not to mix old wine(Old Covenant Laws) with new wine(New Covenant Laws that is Jesus Christ). You cannot have the two and God will never give anyone what He belongs to Israel, His Kingdom. So any Christian who continues to live by Old Covenant laws will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven and will also not receive anything from God at the end of the day.

Luke 5 vs 33-39
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
33. They said to Jesus, “John’s followers often fast and pray, the same as the followers of the Pharisees. But your followers eat and drink all the time.”
34. Jesus said to them, “At a wedding you can’t ask the friends of the bridegroom to be sad and fast while he is still with them.
35. But the time will come when the groom will be taken away from them. Then his friends will fast.”
36. Jesus told them this story: “No one takes cloth off a new coat to cover a hole in an old coat. That would ruin the new coat, and the cloth from the new coat would not be the same as the old cloth.
37. Also, no one ever pours new wine into old wineskins. The new wine would break them. The wine would spill out, and the wineskins would be ruined.
38. You always put new wine into new wineskins.
39. No one who drinks old wine wants new wine. They say, ‘The old wine is just fine.’”

Old wine i.e old world = animal sacrifice and flesh.

New wine i.e new world = Blood of Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.

We are redeemed by His blood and empowered by His Spirit to fulfil it.

"These men are full of new wine." Acts 2:13. HOLYSPIRIT

Old vessel = old you.
New vessel = new you.
2 Cor 5:17.

Anyone who falls on this STONE will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.~ Matthew 21:44.

Jesus Christ is the cornerSTONE. He caused us to fall upon Him and be broken into pieces by His love, and buying and redeeming our old self with His precious blood because it is written "HE FIRST LOVED US." He picked and gathered our old pieces vessel together, and crush (grind) them to powder form. Then, mixed the powder with His water and remould us to His new vessel, and fill it with a new wine called Holy Spirit. THIS PROCESS IS A HARD THING FOR MANY, REASON SOME CAN'T BEAR IT. It is written "endure hardness as a good soldier of Christ." It is called broken heart and contrite spirit.

Zacchaeus' stony heart and spirit were broken (sinner's sorrowful repentance heart), he afterward received the Spirit of faith and joy from Christ to obey and fulfil the LAW of restitution in Exodus..

If you like remove law for tithing, remember also to remove law for restitution, bribery, false report, dowry, etc...

May God remove greed and grudging giving from this modern Church. It is well.

I think you are completely lost in the web that you have woven for yourself there. Please go back to the passage where new wine and old wine are referenced. undecided
And rather than trying to inject your own meaning into what is written. I suggest you let the passage read itself to you so you can better comprehend what is being referred to as opposed to what you would rather it say to you. undecided

Don't pay tithe. It is your own decision. I won't say what God didn't say because it is written Let God be true, and every man a liar.. I pay my tithe and you don't, so no need debating any further because you can't force tithe payers to stop, except those who wish to. It's a personal decision with a personal cross and accountability. After the race, we will count the miles. Shalom brother, one love.

1 John 2 vs 3-6
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. If we obey what God has told us to do, then we are sure that we know him.
4. If we say we know God but do not obey his commands, we are lying. The truth is not in us.
5. But when we obey God’s teaching, his love is truly working in us. This is how we know that we are living in him.
6. If we say we live in God, we must live the way Jesus lived.

their businessThese are guys who killed christianity in nigeria
from oyedepo to adeboye olukoya....
..they extrapolated and polluted the church to another dimension.
they privatise and commercialise christianity to mega companies and have branch managers scattered at all corners of nigeria.
they have exported 666 to all corners of nigeria.
avoid these churches if u need long life....they don't represent God. they are all business oriented.
Polluted ke? I am not even sure if Christianity was ever right in the history of Nigeria or its people. undecided

Read the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy in your spare time to understand exactly why it is impossible for you, a Nigerian to in fact claim you are living in obedience to God's tithing law by paying tithe. Then you will understand why your claim to indeed be in obeying God when you tithe is indeed an act of disobedience to God.

To understand what Matthew 23 vs 23 says, you first need to understand the tithing law that God set up and why you cannot in fact be obeying God's law both by design and stipulation.
No, what you call tithing has absolutely nothing to do with God's own definition of Tithing at all. What you worship there when you tithe is the doctrines and traditions of men and men alone.
