Olawale Bakare, convener of RevolutionNow in Osogbo, Osun State capital last year, was rearrested by operatives of the Department of Secret Service, DSS.

It will be recalled that on August 4, 2019, a human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore staged a protest in Lagos which led to his arrest and being detained.

Similarly, Olawale Bakare was also arrested in Osogbo and arraigned alongside Sowore.

Olawale on Wednesday with members of the Revolution Now converged at the popular Olaiya junction in Osogbo to stage a protest against bad governance, lack of infrastructure, extra-judicial activities among others.

The protesters while having a peaceful protest, addressed the police officers at the scene on their mission.

A yet to be identified member of the RevolutionNow while addressing security agents and onlookers was abruptly arrested by DSS.

Meanwhile, Bakare and two others were also arrested, as others fled the scene.

so sad. in this govt of abnormally, we only hear of dss arresting innocent citizens protesting bad leadership, while purveyors of mindless killings and terrorism across the nation are left un- touched.
infact dss behave as if these mindless killers called bandits or Fulani -herdsmen terrorists killing innocent nigerians, especially in southern kaduna, are invisible spirits that can not be arrested, and their evil activities curtailed.

Any person bringing tribalism into this issue is the real enemy of this country. We have suffered, Our Parents are suffering, the old and aged are dying in pains with no pensions. This current government want to totally destroy everyone. If you can't go out to protest, at least use all that you have to protest, use your social media account, post, support, speak with symphaty, People are dying in Nigeria, people are suffering, hunger is killing people, You people should let us have human feelings for once. We are not asking to be America or London, but we are saying this current government is taking us all as fools, see dem fainting on live TV, see them doing interviews, they see us as fools, and we will all be blowing grammar on social media.

Please, if you can not go out, use anything you have to support, there is no future for Nigeria at the moment but at least we can take a risk, we have nothing to lose. All the Youths should please think, all the yahoo boys should remember you cant do fraud forever, use the little you have now, You have nothing loose. If it is religion now, we will start fighting as if the religion originated from our house.

Any one, any soul, any human with feelings will support the protest with any little thing they have even if they can not go out. Please, we have nothing lose. Bbnaija will come and go, they will give them money, we are still the one that will be bending generator because fuel as want to finish, You are rich now, when things get worse, the poor will come and tear you apart, they will rob you, kidnap you.

Support whichever way you can, nothing is functioning in this country, we all know the truth, not everyone will travel out. Please. Try and look for any old person around you and see the truth. Just let's make their seat shake, they are too comfortable making us look like slaves and letting us die like chicken.

Hmm

Sad thing is these DSS and other law enforcement officers being used to oppress the citizens are also victims of this failed system.

This is why I don't feel any pity for them when they cry about the government abandoning them after retirement. You can't eat your cake and have it.

BTW, E be like say Prison watery beans no tire this boy because even stones and animals knows Nigeria is not worth fighting for.

You expect the government to welcome them with open arms or call them for a banquet.

It serves them right. I wonder why they lack strategy.
